U se your pretty papers to create clean and simple cards!
Project Recipe
Cut your pretty paper (I used a piece of Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper) to measure 4" x 12", then cut each 12" strip into two 5-1/4" pieces. You will end up with 6 pieces of 4" x 5-1/4" pieces of pretty paper.
Cut the remaining 4" x 1-1/2" strip in half to measure 4" x 3/4".
Note: if the backside of the pretty paper doesn't really coordinate well with the patterned paper, use strips of coordinating cardstock for the small strip.
Cut 6 card bases measuring 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and fold in half.
Adhere the 4" x 5-1/4" piece of pretty patterned paper onto the front of the folded card base.
Position the small strip over the front of the pretty paper, and adhere.
Choose your greeting, ink it up with a color that coordinates with your paper, and stamp on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock.
Cut greeting out using dies or punches (I used the Stitched Shapes Dies). Also cut out a background shape to go behind greeting if desired.
Adhere the greeting to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Note: This layout is perfect for ANY occasion! You could make up a bunch and leave off the greeting until you need a card. Have fun with it!
