S nowflakes from the Winter Snow Embossing Folder and the Snowflake Wishes Bundle make for pretty cards for the winter season, whether it be Christmas, thank you, thinking of you, or New Year!
Project Recipe
Cardstock Measurements (in inches):
a. Night of Navy: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 AND 2 x 4-1/4
b. Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper: 4 x 5-1/4
c. Whisper White: scrap for greeting and snowflake AND 4 x 5-1/4 for inside
d. Pacific Point: scrap for snowflake
e. Balmy Blue: scrap for snowflake
2. Fold the Night of Navy piece in half to form your card base
3. Adhere the Designer Series Paper to the card front using Stampin’ Seal adhesive.
4. Place the smaller piece of Night of Navy cardstock in the Winter Snow Embossing Folder and run it through your die cutting machine (I used the new Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine).
5. Cut the bottom of the embossed Night of Navy piece so make a banner end. Tip: cut up from the center, then cut at each end inward.
6. Adhere the banner to the card front as shown using Stampin’ Seal.
7. Ink up your greeting from the Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set in Night of Navy ink and stamp on a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock. Next ink up one of the smaller snowflakes in the same stamp set in Balmy Blue ink, stamp off onto a piece of scrap paper, then stamp over the greeting.
8. Using the appropriate size die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies, cut the greeting out using your die cutting machine.
9. Adhere the greeting to the card front as shown using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
10. Using snowflake dies from the So Many Snowflake Dies, cut out 3 snowflakes of various sizes (one each in Whisper White, Balmy Blue, and Pacific Point) using your die cutting machine.
11. Adhere the 3 snowflakes together using Mini Glue Dots, then adhere the layered snowflakes to the card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals as shown.
12. Place a Blue Adhesive Backed Gem in the center of the snowflake for a finishing touch.
