Project Recipe
Cut a piece of Highland Heather cardstock measuring 4-1/8" x 5-3/8", and using Multipurpsoe Liquid Glue, adhere it to the lacy. outer layer of the Bird Ballad Laser Cut card base.
note: I put the glue on the outer edge of the lacy side of the laser cut card base, then carefully adhered the Highland Heather onto the card base.
Ink up the bird image with Memento Ink and stamp onto a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock.
Cut the image out using the largest die from the Stitched Nested Labels dies and your die cutting machine, lining up the right edge of the die to the edge of your cardstock (see photo)
Color in image using Stampin' Blends markers.
I used Highland Heather Light and Dark, Old Olive Dark, Crumb Cake Dark, and Petal Pink Dark.
Ink up the "Hello" greeting from the Free As A Bird stamp set in Highland Heather ink, and stamp on the die-cut bird layer.
Adhere your image to the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Make a bow out of Scalloped Lace Trim and adhere to the left side of the image layer using Mini Glue Dots.
Adhere a Bird Ballad Trinket to the center of the bow with a Mini Glue Dot.
