A n idea with the reflections technique using the new in colours.
Cut all the card stock to size if not already done.
All measurements are in inches.
Card = 4.1/8" x 5.7/8".
Blue Panel = 4" x 5.3/4.
White Panel = 3.7/8" x 5.5/8".
From the Blue Panel Punch out the 2 inch circle using the 2 inch circle punch.
From a scrap of Whisper white card stock punch out 1 circle using the 1.3/4" circle punch.
If you want the scalloped finish, now is the time to run the Daper Denim through the Big Shot machine with the Edgelits Finishing Touches Dye.
(Feel free to use another dye that you feel may suit more your creative taste)
Time to Stamp...
Stamp the main image at the piece of the cardstock as per normal.
Have a piece of acetate ready, Re-Ink your stamp and now stamp onto the acetate.
Turn the image over so the stamped image is now facing down towards the cardstock.
carefully place the image where it looks like a reflection toward the bottom of the card stock.
Hold the acetate firmly and gently press down on the image to transfer the image onto the cardstock.
Stamp your chosen sentiment on the 1.3/4" Circle punch.
If you wish to round your top corners on your card, now is the time to use the corner punch and round the top corners on all 3 layers of cardstock.
Time to layer the card together.
Using your choice of sticky medium (my personal favourite for projects with very little room around the edges is the Tombow Glue)
With the Burlap Ribbon i have freyed the edges by simply pulling the vertical strands out from the middle. be prepared to get a bit of burlap on you.
I have used sticky tape to tape the burlap to the BACK of the Dapper Denim 2" circle.
Layering the sentiment panels together.
For this particular card, there are 3D dots on the back of the Dapper Demin 2 inch circle just at the top and bottom of the burlap.
the white sentiment piece has been tombow glued directly to the front of the Dapper Demin piece.
Now just take the tops off the 3D dots and place the sentiment is place.
