H ow many times do you give a gift card for an occasion? Here is an easy card to change up for any occasion, and present the gift card and still have a place to sign the card. You will want to keep the instructions for this one, for sure.
Project Recipe
Crushed Curry card base 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4" and top fold.
6" of Black/Silver 1/4" Striped Metallic Ribbon attached to the top of the DP.
5 1/2" X 2" strip of Classic Garage DSP across the bottom of the card.
Car stamped on whisper white with black ink and hand cut out and placed above the ribbon placed on the card front with regular dimensionals. Above the car cut out on the left side stamp the greeting, here used the You're a Classic from the Geared Up Garage set.
Inside the Happy Birthday die and the 3 gear die (Garage Gears Dies set) cut from Silver Foil, the 3 gear die is placed on the bottom left, and the Happy Birthday die is placed on the inside top.
To make the pop-up gift card holder you will need
2 - 5 X 5 pieces of DSP score both pieces the same at; 1 1/2, 2 1/4, 3 3/4, 4 1/2
Burnish all score lines add adhesive to the 1/2" section, bring the opposite side over and attach, making an open-ended rectangle, fold 2nd piece in the same way. Place the seam on both rectangles on the bottom and place the 2 rectangles together on the 1 1/2" side, using adhesive ONLY 1/2" in, on each end keeping the rest open to place the gift card. Place the card-holder along the top fold of the card and use adhesive on the bottom and the back of the gift card holder only.
