T his Organiser Box can hold six 6"x4" cards with envelopes, six 3"x3" cards with envelopes and six gift tags.
Project Recipe
This box has quite a few pieces to it, so I find it easiest to prepare all the pieces first. From coloured Cardstock, cut and score your pieces as follows:-
Cut a piece of coloured Cardstock to measure 10"x12" (25.3cm x 30.4cm). With the long edge at the top of your trimmer/scoreboard, score at 5" (12.6cm) and 7" (17.7cm). Turn the card so the short side is at the top and score at 3/4" (10.9cm) down to the first horizontal score line, then at 2" (5cm) and 8" (20.3cm) and lastly at 9 1/4" (23.4cm) down to the first horizontal score line.
With the long side at the top, use a pair of scissors to cut up the sides of the centre square to form a flap as shown in the photo.
Take an A4 sheet and cut a piece measuring 6 1/8" x 10 1/8" - this will form the lid. With the long side butting up to the top edge of your trimmer/scoreboard, score at 2" and 8 1/8".
Turn the piece and score the short side at 2" & 4 1/8".
Cut up the sides of the squares as shown in the photo.
This piece forms the lid.
Take the 2" x 12" strip you cut off the sheet above and cut 2 pieces as follows:-
4 1/2" x 2" - score at 1/2", 1", 3 1/2" & 4" - this will be the Tag Pocket.
5 1/2" x 2" - score at 1/2", 1", 4 1/2", 5" - this will be the Note Card Pocket.
Take a second A4 sheet of coloured Cardstock and, starting with the short side at the top of your trimmer, cut a piece measuring 4 1/8" x 8 1/2".
With the long side at the top, score at 1 1/4" & 7 1/4". Turn to the short side and score at 3".
Cut up the side of each corner as shown.
This forms the front of the main card pocket.
