S ummer is upon us, and is the perfect time to have some fun with these cute adorable farm animals. Peakaboo Farm is right up my allie with the adorableness. I realize that this might not be every one cup of tea, so this month I made alternative with flower of friendship using the same supplies. SO you can see how when you don't have the same stamp set I do you can alter what you are stamping.
Project Recipe
1. Basic Grey 8 1/ 2 in x 5 1/2 in folded in half 4 1/4 used horizontally.
2. Layer a piece of Basic White 4 1/8 in x 5 3/8 in on card front.
3. Simply Elegant DSP 4 in x 5 1/4 in adhered next to card font.
4. Stamping on Contour Scallop Cut. Stamped Brick across bottom, then animals across the top. Using blending brush tuxedo ink across brick. Used Blends to color animals.
5. Stamp sentiment on Tasteful labels and layer on vellum label, then place with dimentionals in lower corner.
Alternative using Flowers of Friendship
Provided extra basic white, incase you want to add dimension to your product.
1, Pool Party Cardstock 4 1/4 in x 11 in folded 5 1/2 in positioned vertically.
2. Using the Picture This Die on Pool Party 4 in x 5 1/4 in
3. Basic White 3 7/8 in x 5 1/8 in, position behind pool party cut out and with pencil lightly trace circles on white. Remove pool party, and stamp animal images with memento on basic white. Sentiment is also stamped in one of the circles. Color with blend markers. Carefully erase pencil marking. Then using blending brush and pool party fill in edges and within circles of basic white.
4. Stamp clouds with pool party to front pool party. Adhere pool party front to Basic white. Fold Smokey Slate 7/8 ribbon in half and adhere to bottom of pool party cover. Adhere this pool party animal cover to front of card with foam strips.
5. Line inside of card with basic white.
Alternative is done the same with Flowers of Friendship except positioned so that flowers are showing in circles. And I stamped extra flower petals on white and cut them out so that I could layer them in the circle and give it some dimension. I chose to not pop this panel up so that the flowers popped up instead.
