P op-up birthday card made with the Party With Cake Bundle from the 2016 Occasions Catalog
Project Recipe
Cut a card base (5.5" x 8.5") from a sheet of It's My Party Designer Series Paper Stack. Cut an interior layer (5.5" x 8.5") from a piece of Mint Macaron card stock. Score and fold both halfway, at 4.25".
Center the Hip Hip Hooray speech bubble die on the Mint Macaron layer and run the sandwich through the Big Shot. Use the Big Shot Die Brush to remove any stray pieces. Fold on the creases and adhere the layer inside the card, using Liquid Multipurpose Glue so you can perfectly align the creases. Make sure that you don't get any glue on the pop-up, so that it will work correctly.
Cut a large Whisper White banner with the Banner Framelit die. Stamp "It's Your Day" with Melon Mambo ink.
Using a scrap of Crushed Curry card stock, stamp "Happy Birthday" and "Celebrate" with Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Use the Paper Snips to cut out each phrase. Make a banner cut on the right end of "Celebrate" and on both ends of "Happy Birthday." Use Liquid Multipurpose Glue to adhere "Happy Birthday" across the white banner and "Celebrate" inside the card, with the flat end against the crease.
Wrap a length of Basic Black Baker's Twine around the top of the white banner and tie it in a bow. To finish, adhere the banner to the top of the card front.
