P op-up birthday card made with the Party With Cake bundle from the 2016 Occasions Catalog.
Project Recipe
Cut a Mint Macaron card base (5.5" x 8.5") and crease at 4.25". Cut a Whisper White interior layer (5" x 8") and crease at 4".
Run the Mint Macaron card base through the Big Shot, using the Large Polka Dot embossing folder just on the front of the card.
Center the Happy Birthday die on the white layer and cut it with the Big Shot. Color the pop-up with the markers, stamp the confetti randomly with Crushed Curry ink, and stamp Let's Party with the Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Use Liquid Multipurpose Glue to adhere the layer inside the card base. Make sure to align the creases, and don't get any glue on the pop-up part of the card.
Use the Circle Framelit to cut a white circle for the front of the card. Stamp "It's Time..." with Memento ink, and color the letters with the Stampin' Write Markers as shown. Add It's My Party Enamel Dots under the words.
Stamp the cake slice in Melon Mambo ink on a scrap of Whisper White card stock. On another scrap, stamp a candle inked with Stampin' Write markers in Mint Macaron and Crushed Curry. Cut out the cake and candle, and glue them together with the Fine Tip Glue Pen.
Cut a strip of It's My Party Designer Series Paper to 4.25" x 2.25" and adhere it to the card front. Using Stampin' Dimensionals, attach the circle on top of the paper strip. The final step is to add the cake slice just above the circle, popped up over the circle with a double layer of Dimensionals.
