P op-up birthday card with the Party With Cake bundle from the 2016 Occasions Catalog
Project Recipe
Cut a card base (5.5" x 8.5") from a piece of Mint Macaron card stock. Score it halfway at 4.25".
Cut an interior layer (5.5" x 7.75") from Whisper White card stock. Use the Happy Birthday die to cut the center of this layer. Fold on all creases so that the image pops out.
Using the markers, color the candles and letters on the pop-up so they stand out. Use Liquid Multipurpose Glue to adhere the layer to the inside of the card base, making sure to line up the creases. Add a strip of Washi tape to each side of the white layer.
Cut a piece of the patterned paper to 4" x 5.5" and adhere it to the front of the card.
Cut a Whisper White oval using the second largest oval Framelit. Stamp the words with Tuxedo Black Memento ink, and color using markers.
Stamp confetti at the top of the oval with Crushed Curry ink. On a scrap of Whisper White card stock, stamp the cake slice with Mint Macaron ink and stamp a candle in Melon Mambo. Use the Paper Snips to cut out the cake and candle. Use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to attach the candle to the cake, and then attach the cake to the oval with a Stampin' Dimensional.
Cut a 1.5" wide strip of Melon Mambo card stock to approximately 5" long. Punch each end with the Triple Banner Punch to create a banner, and glue the banner to the card front. Use Stampin' Dimensionals to attach the oval to card front, and you're done!
