I was inspired to do this fun fold from SU! demonstrator, Robin Daus. It's pretty easy to do and has a WOW effect! And it's a good way to feature our wonderful Designer Series Paper.
Project Recipe
Measurements:
Copper Clay -
4 1/4" x 11" scored @ 5 1/2"
2 1/2" x 2 1/2" for circle
Basic White -
4" x 9", scored @ 2", 4" & 6"
3" x 1 3/4" for the front label
2 1/2" x 2 1/2" for card front image
DSP -
4" x 5 1/4" - card front
3 3/4" x 1 3/4" for inside
Linen Thread -
Approx. 6 1/5"
Attach the 5 1/4" x 4" piece of DSP to the card front.
Using the largest circle from the Stylish Shapes dies, center the circle so that it's about 3/4" from the top of the fold, and die cut just the card front.
Set the Copper Clay circle aside. Take the DSP circle and punch a smaller circle using the 2" punch. Attach the DSP to the Copper Clay circle.
Punch a circle from the 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" piece of Copper Clay.
Using Pebble Path ink, stamp the image on the 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" piece of Basic White and punch using the 1 3/4" circle punch. Attach this to the smaller Copper Clay circle.
Take the 4" x 9" piece of Basic White and lay it in front of you so that the 4" x 3" section is at the bottom and the 3 4" x 2" panels are at the top. Stamp your sentiment of choice using Pebble Path ink on the 4" x 3" section.
Attach the 3 3/4" x 1 3/4" piece of DSP to the 4" x 2" panel just above the 4" x 3" section.
Apply adhesive to the back of the 4" x 3" piece of basic white and line it up on the inside panel so that it's about 1/8" from the bottom of the Copper Clay cardstock. Press firmly to make sure it's adhered.
Fold the next 4" x 2" panel forward towards you so that you now see the 1st & 2nd 4" x 2" panels.
Apply adhesive to ONLY the top and sides of the topmost 4" x 2" panel. You don't want any adhesive to peek out past the circle cutout on the card front.
Gently fold the card front down so that it adheres to the top of the Basic White cardstock and folds flat.
Take the solid Copper Clay circle, turn it over only, and apply adhesive to the bottom portion of the circle.
Place it back inside the circle cut out and firmly rub the bottom of the circle to make sure it's adhered.
Test opening and closing the card front to make sure there are no obstructions with the large circle.
Take the circle with the stamped image and attach that with dimensionals to the large circle.
Take the 3" x 3/4" piece of Basic White cardstock and punch each end using the Take a Pick punch.
Apply the Natural Adhesive sequins to the front of the punched Basic White piece.
Turn that over and apply a line of adhesive across the back.
Take your piece of Linen Thread and make 4 small loops at the top piece of the white label. Attach mini dimensionals to the back and attach it to the card front.
Your card is finished!
