T
he Gorgeous Garden dies and the Wanted to Say dies are a perfect combo for quick card-making!
For this card, I used Blending Brushes to create a background, but this card layout would be perfect with just using some of our amazing Designer Series papers!

Instructions:
Choose which die you want to use for your card front. Then die cut the 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" piece of Basic White cardstock. TIP - I find it easier to poke out the excess pieces while the die is still attached to the cardstock. It's easier to see what pieces need to be removed.
Once you've removed the excess pieces, gently remove the paper from the die. There are some very narrow cuts on the floral die so be sure to not pull too much or you will tear the cardstock. Set the die aside.
Coloring the card front:
You'll want to have a large Blending Brush assigned to each color ink pad that you will be using (Boho Blue, Balmy Blue, and Coastal Cabana for this card). Apply the ink in a swirling motion, using a different color for each 1/3 of the card front.
Make sure to lightly tap the ink pad and start the blending motion OFF of the card front, on your scratch paper then gently move it to the card front in a circular motion. This will prevent you from having large blobs of concentrated color. You can always add more color, but you can't take it off! Be sure to blend each color into the other so that there are no visible lines between the shades.
Turn the die-cut piece over so that the back is facing up. Apply liquid glue on all 4 sides and to the larger areas, being sure to use a light amount of pressure when applying the glue. You do not need to put glue on the very thin pieces of the die.
Leave the die with the glue side facing up. Take the card front, turn it over, position it so that the card is opening on the correct side, and gently lay it over the glued die surface. The die cut is the exact same size as the card front so it should fit.
Gently rub the back of the card to help adhere it to the die cut.
Flip the card over. Visually look to see if there are any areas that might have some glue seeping out and if so, use a damp wipe or paper towel and gently dab on the excess glue to remove it.
Take the 3 3/4" x 1 1/2" piece of Basic White and apply the same size piece of the double-sided adhesive sheet to the back. Flip this over and place the word die Celebrate on the front and die cut.
Using the 3 3/4" x 1 1/2" piece of Pool Party, die cut the background die for the word Celebrate. Peel the backing off of the word Celebrate and apply it to the front of the Pool Party background layer.
Take the Pool Party ribbon and twist it into a loop. Adhere it to the card front using glue dots.
Apply dimensionals to the back of the sentiment (Celebrate) and position it over the ribbon.
Add embellishments.
