Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Crumb Cake Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x -5-1/4" from Cherry Cobbler Cardstock
- 2" x 5" of peeling whitewashed wood design from Wood Textures 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 3" square from Night of Navy Cardstock
- 3" square from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1-1/2" square from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 2" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
Adhere the strip of Wood Textures Designer Series Paper to the left side of the Cherry Cobbler rectangle so about 1/8" of Cherry Cobbler shows on the left, top, and bottom edges.
Cut a 6" piece of Night of Navy 1/2" Gingham Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the designer paper/cardstock layers so the ribbon covers the seam between the layers on the right side. Flip the layers over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive. Leave the protective backings in place for now.
Mount the large grouping of flowers and leaves image from the Wood Words Set on Block I. Ink it up with the Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad. Stamp it across the center of the 3" square of vanilla cardstock.
Unlock the 2" Circle Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped vanilla square into the punch and get the image centered across the punching area. Punch.
Unlock the 2-1/4" Circle Punch. Slide the Night of Navy square into the punch. Punch.
Adhere the stamped vanilla circle to the Night of Navy circle.
Adhere the matted circles to the card front so they are centered over the ribbon about 1-1/4" from the top.
Mount the small star image from the Wood Words Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Night of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small vanilla square.
Pick out the star framelit from the Wood Crate Framelits. Place the stamped star image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the star framelit on top so it is centered over the stamped star image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the star cut out to the center of the matted circles using a Stampin' Dimensionals.
Mount the "for you," "thanks a bunch," "thank you," or "welcome" sentiment from the Wood Words Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small vanilla strip.
Pick out the small tag framelit from the Wood Crate Framelits. Place the stamped sentiment on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the tag framelit on top so it is centered over the stamped sentiment with the top of the tag on the left side. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the tag at a slight angle to the bottom right side of the matted circles on the card front.
Place the card front on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Poke a hole through the cardstock layers in the center of the tag hole using a Paper-Piercing Tool.
Insert a large, Night of Navy brad from the Basic Brads into the hole. Turn the layers over and flatten out the prongs to secure the brad in place.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips on the back of the card front and add SNAIL to the back. Adhere it to the front of the Crumb Cake card.
