Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, specialty paper, and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Night Of Navy Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 2 pieces each 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2" x 5-1/4" of blue eyelet lace design from Country Lace 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/4" square of tungsten paper from Textured Metallic 12" x 12" Specialty Paper
- 3" square from Old Olive Cardstock
- 3" square from Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock
- 1-3/4" square from Night Of Navy Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the Country Flowers Set, place the cardstock or specialty paper on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
DO THIS STEP FIRST!
Mount the milk can image from the Country Flowers Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Jet Black StazOn Ink Pad. Carefully stamp it on the square of tungsten Textured Metallic Specialty Paper. Be sure not to let the stamp slide on the paper. Set aside to dry. Don't worry about stamping the line at the top of the milk can, it will be covered anyway.
Insert the one of the white rectangles into the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the piece of Country Lace Designer Paper to the bottom of the dry embossed white rectangle so the left, bottom, and right edges are even.
Cut a 5-3/4" piece of the Night Of Navy 3/8" Bordered Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the matted cardstock/designer paper rectangle so it covers the seam between the designer paper and dry embossed cardstock. Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ribbon in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the white rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the Night Of Navy card.
Mount the Countryside Corners stamp on Block F. Leave the stamp rubber side up on your work surface and use the side of the brush tip of the Night Of Navy Stampin' Write Marker to carefully ink up ONLY the second from the outside set of three stitched lines all the way around. Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink. Leave the stamp inky rubber side up on your work surface. Carefully place the remaining white rectangle on top of the inky stamp so it covers the whole stamp. Place a piece of Grid Paper on top of the cardstock/inky rubber and rub firmly all over. Remove the Grid Paper and the inked up cardstock rectangle.
Pick out the die from the Countryside Corners Dies that cuts out a label that is 2-7/8" x 4-1/2". Put it on top of the stamped sentiment label image on the white cardstock on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Carefully use the side of the brush tip of the Night Of Navy Stampin' Write Marker to outline the edges of the label.
Mount the "so lucky to know you" sentiment from the Country Flowers Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp the sentiment in the upper left side of the label cut out as shown.
Adhere the stamped and outlined label cut out to the front of the card so it is centered.
Pick out the matching, open milk can die from the Country Flowers Dies. Put it on top of the stamped milk can image on the metallic paper on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Adhere the milk can cut out to the front of the card as shown so it is in the lower right corner of the label cut out.
Pick out the solid, large group of connected leaves and both, smaller groups of leaves dies from the Country Flowers Dies. Put them on top of the Old Olive square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the machine. Repeat with the Lemon Lime Twist square. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick as needed to remove the pieces.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the large group of connected Old Olive leaves to the top of the milk can on the card front.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals (cut them down using the Paper Snips Scissors if needed) to adhere the large group of connected Lemon Lime Twist leaves to the top of the milk can on the card front as shown so they are slightly off set from the Old Olive leaves.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen or cut down Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the loose leaves to the front of the card as shown. Tuck some into empty spaces in the large groups of leaves as needed as well.
Pick out the solid, small group of three small flowers die from the Country Flowers Dies. Put it on top of the Night Of Navy square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick as needed to remove the pieces.
Place the cut out flowers on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface.
Use the Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush to paint some shimmer onto the flower cut outs.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen or cut down Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the shimmery flowers to the front of the card as shown in the center of the large groups of leaves.
Cut a 3" piece of the Night Of Navy 3/8" Bordered Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card as shown so it is centered over the ribbon on the left edge of the label cut out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 6 different sizes of Basic Gray pearls from a sheet of Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Pearls making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the card front as shown so 5 of them are scattered around the sentiment and one small one is at the intersection of the milk jug and handle as shown.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 3 small Smoky Slate pearls from a sheet of Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Pearls making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the card front as shown so they are in the centers of the flowers.
