T
his cute little hippo is walking a tightrope and is a bit wobbly.
I used a 3/4" circle punch, (retired), to punch four circles with Basic White Cardstock. I made my wobbles by winding the wire around a sharpie marker, and adhering glue dots to one side of a circle punch out and slipping the punch out under the wire. Then I stuck glue dots on another punch out, and stuck them together to hold the wire in place. Repeat this on the other end of the coil.
Project Recipe
Fold your card on the score lines and burnish with a bone folder. The side with the score lines are the card front. With a pencil, make a tiny mark at 2-1/8 at the bottom of the card front. Use your paper trimmer to cut from the score line to the pencil mark on each side of the bottom portion of the card front. Attach a DSP rectangle to the Old Olive card stock and add dimensionals to the back. Set aside. Adhere the other DSP pieces to the Basic White card front between the score lines, centering on all four sides. Attach the Basic White square to the Old Olive square after securing the Flirty Flamingo Bakers Twine as shown in the sample. Stamp and color in your Hippo as desired, and attach her to the wobble with a glue dot. Adhere the other side of the wobble as desired so that she appears to be walking the tightrope. Add the DSP to the umbrella, use the Flirty Flamingo
Stampin' Blend to color the handle, and adhere her umbrella to her hand. Stamp your greeting and attach it to the Old Olive small square. Use glue dots and affix the squares only on the bottom right corner so the piece is firmly attached to the focal square. Attach the Old Olive/DSP rectangle to the card bottom. Stamp your envelope as desired.
