P retty thank you card using Stampin' Up! products. It could easily be a Christmas or other type of card by simply changing the sentiment.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Soft Sky Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 4" from Garden Green Cardstock
- 3-1/4" square from Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock
- 3-1/4" square from Garden Green Cardstock
- 3-1/4" square of green and blue herringbone lines on white background design from Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper
- scrap of Soft Sky Cardstock at least 3" long
- long, thin scrap of any cardstock
Place the 1-3/4" x 4" strip of Garden Green into the Quilt Top Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the card stock inside on top of a Cutting Pad on your Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Place another Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the dry embossed green strip to the bottom of the large Soft Sky rectangle.
Cut a 5" piece of Gold 1/8" Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the Soft Sky/Garden Green layers so it covers the seam between the two layers. Flip the layers over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add more SNAIL to the back of the layers. Adhere the layers to the front of the Lemon Lime Twist card.
Cut a 4" piece of Gold 1/8" Ribbon.
Tie it to the ribbon on the card front using a half knot so it is centered on the card. Trim the ends.
Ink up the sentiment of choice from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Set with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the scrap of Soft Sky Cardstock.
Unlock the Classic Label Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped sentiment into the punch.
If you used a longer sentiment, carefully line up the sentiment so it is centered in the punching area. Punch. Skip the next step.
If you used a shorter sentiment, carefully line up the sentiment so it is centered top to bottom and more to the right of the punching area. Proceed to the next step.
Put a tiny dab of SNAIL on one end of the long, thin scrap of any cardstock. Adhere to the back of the punched out sentiment as a handle so it sticks out to the right side.
Carefully slide the punch out into the punching area of the punch from the right side so that the left edge of the punch out goes into the punching area and out the other side of the punch. Use the cardstock handle to help you maneuver the punch out. See the attached picture.
Once you have the punch out placed so that the sentiment will be centered, punch.
Remove the cardstock handle from the back of the punch out.
Proceed to the next step.
Adhere the sentiment punch out to the front of the card so it is centered in the dry embossed green strip.

Dab the sponge into the glue and then lightly onto the back of the thin quilted flower square outline cut out. Flip the thin quilted flower square outline cut out over and adhere it to the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper cut out so it is centered.
Put some SNAIL on the back of the square behind the designer paper. If needed, add more Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the thin edges on the back using the sponge in the binder clip method.
Adhere the quilt square to the center of the top of the card front.
