Tea Caddy CASEd from Tracy Taylor of Cherrylane Stampin in Saskatchewan, Canada. Holds individually wrapped tea bags such as Stash, or Bigelow teas.
Project Recipe
1) Cut 12x12 CS at 8 1/2"x12". Score on long side at 2 5/8",5 3/4",8 3/8" and 11 1/2". Rotate 90 degrees and score at 2 5/8".
2) Cut off 1/2"x2 5/8" strip and mitre 1/2"x 5 3/4" at the same end. Place strip of Tear n Tape on 1/2" strip but leave on backing for now. Cut up from bottom to long score line at each score line to make tabs and mitre each tab.
3) Go to 1st narrow column from tape and trim about 2/3 of the bottom tab off. Using Circle punch, punch from bottom and have half mark of circle at about the score line. Trim off excess little pieces and cut up about 1/8" from score line to make slot for removing one tea bag.
4) Using Daisy DSP, cut pieces that are 1/4" narrower and 1/4" shorter than each of the panels of the caddy. For DSP piece on side with punched area, put under this piece and trace partial circle then use punch to punch out or use snips to cut out. Adhere all DSP pieces with Seal.
5) fold long tab with tape to inside and fold over other side to meet it. remove backing and adhere to make tube. Using tear n tape, adhere bottom tabs one on top of another to make bottom of caddy.
