Project Recipe
Cutting Instructions:
- Thick Basic White Cardstock: cut 1 @ 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score @ 4 1/4"; cut 1 @ 1 7/8" x 9" (mechanism), score @ 2", 2 3/4", 3 1/2", 4 1/4".
- Sweet Sorbet Cardstock: cut 1 @ 3/4" x4"; cut 4 @ 2" x 2".
- Tea Boutique DSP: cut 4 @ 1 3/4" x 1 3/4"
- 2022-2024 In Color DSP: cut 1 @ 4" x 5 1/4"; cut 1 @ 3/4" x 4".
Instructions:
1. Thick Basic White Cardstock: fold on score line and burnish with bone folder.
2. Adhere background DSP layer with adhesive of your choice.
3. Attach "crossbar" over DSP approximately 1 1/4" from the bottom edge of the cardbase ... NOTE ... be sure to only apply adhesive on the ends for the mechanism can slide behid this piece.
4. Basic White Cardstock 1 7/8" x 9": fold on score lines and burnish with bone folder, punch longer end for ribbon.
5. Insert the mechanism behind the "crossbar" with the punched end through first so it is at the bottom edge of the card.
6. Place adhesive on the top of the "crossbar", attach the last square, the first fold will be at the top of the mechanism and the mechanism will be folded in 1/2.
7. Cardstock for focal background layers, attach 1 square to each fold on the mechanism.
8. Attach DSP for focal points to each background square. ...NOTE... These squares can also be made using stamps & ink on cardstock.
9. Thread ribbon through the hole at the end of the mechanism to use to pull the waterfall.
10. Attach DSP inside the cardbase - approximately 3/4" x 4".
11. Embellish envelope.
