F un, easy card perfect for lots of occasions using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Berry Burst Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 3 strips each 3/4" x 4", one of each from Pecan Pie, Lemon Lime Twist, and Berry Burst designs from Glorious Gingham 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 1-1/2" x 2-3/4" from Berry Burst Cardstock
- 1" x 3" from Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock
- 1" x 2-1/2" from Pecan Pie Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the Sweetest Cherries Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the sentiment of choice from the Sweetest Cherries Set on an appropriate size block. Ink it up with the Berry Burst Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower left corner of the vertical white rectangle.
Unlock the Happy Labels Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of one of the thin Glorious Gingham Designer Paper strips into the left side of the punch (the side of the punch with the small, rounded scallops) as far as it will go and get it centered. Punch. Repeat on the other end. Repeat with the other two strips of designer paper.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the punched strips of designer paper across the top of the stamped white rectangle as shown to figure out spacing and placement so they are slightly angled and overlap each other a bit. Once happy with the placement, adhere the strips in place one at a time.
Adhere the stamped white rectangle with designer paper strips attached to the front of the Berry Burst card.
Mount the solid, whole cherry image from the Sweetest Cherries Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Berry Burst Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the horizontal strip of Berry Burst cardstock.
Mount the solid leaf image from the Sweetest Cherries Set on Block A, Ink it up with the Lemon Lime Twist Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the horizontal strip of Lemon Lime Twist. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it again on the other end of the strip.
Mount the stem image from the Sweetest Cherries Set on Block B, Ink it up with the Pecan Pie Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the vertical strip of Pecan Pie.
Unlock the Cherry Builder Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. One at a time, slide one of the stamped images into the punch and get it centered in the corresponding punching area. Punch. Repeat until you have a cherry, a stem, and two leaves punched out.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the cherry punch out to the front of the card as shown so it overlaps the bottom two strips of designer paper on the right side.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the stem punch out to the front of the card as shown so the bottom of the stem is tucked under the top of the cherry and the top of the stem points off to the right.
Adhere one of the leaf punch outs to the front of the card as shown using Stampin' Seal so it sticks out to the left side of the stem. Adhere the other leaf punch out in place using a Mini Stampin' Dimensional so it overlaps the upper left side of the cherry punch and the bottom left side of the other leaf punch out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 large and 2 small Berry Burst gems from the sheet of Tinsel Gems Four-Pack making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the front of the card as shown,
