C ute mini jam jars filled with candy and decorated with Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- 2-1/2" square of white dots on watercolored peach colored background design from You're A Peach 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2" x 3-3/4" from Basic White Cardstock
Fill the Mini Jam Jar with treats and put the lid on.
Pick out the smooth circle die from the Layering Circles Dies that cuts out a smooth circle that is 1-7/8" diameter. Put it on top of the You're A Peach Designer Paper square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Use Tear & Tape strips on the back of the designer paper circle to adhere it to the lid of the jar.
As you are ready to stamp using the Sweet As A Peach Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the single, large, peach image from the Sweet As A Peach Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Pale Papaya Ink Pad. BEFORE stamping, rub a Blending Brush across the open Mango Melody Ink Pad to get it inky. Lightly tap/rub the inky Blending Brush on the right side of the inked up peach image. Get more ink on the Blending Brush as needed. Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink. Stamp the peach image on one end of the horizontal white cardstock.
Mount the "have a Peachy day" or "sweet as a peach" sentiment from the Sweet As A Peach Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Mango Melody Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the stamped peach image on the white rectangle.
Mount the set of two leaves and stem image from the Sweet As A Peach Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Pear Pizzazz Ink Pad. BEFORE stamping, use the brush tip of the Early Espresso Marker to color directly onto the stem part of the stamp. Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink. Stamp on the other end of the stamped white cardstock leaving room between the images to cut them out with the dies.
Pick out the matching peach and matching two leaves with stem dies from the Peach Dies. Put them on top of the stamped images on the white rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the images are centered in the dies. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the machine.
Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere the leaves and stem cut out to the peach cut out so the stem is tucked behind the center top of the peach and the leaves overlap the top left side of the peach.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the peach with attached leaves and stem to the top of the jar in the center of the circle cut out.
Cut a 12" piece of the white baker's twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack.
Fold the twine in half.
Tie a small bow in the center of the twine. Trim the ends so the ends are fairly long.
Use a Mini Glue Dot (squish it down a bit if needed) to adhere the twine bow to the top of the jar lid so it is on the lower right side of the peach cut out.
