- 2" x 4- 1/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 2" x 5-1/2" from Pale Papaya Cardstock
- 2" x 5-1/2" from Flirty Flamingo Cardstock
- 1-7/8" x 5-3/8" from Adhesive Sheets
As you are ready to stamp using the Special Moments Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "Happy Birthday" sentiment from the Special Moments Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. Stamp it in the upper right corner of the large, vertical Daffodil Delight rectangle.
Adhere the rectangle of floral Daffodil Afternoon Designer Paper to the center of the vanilla plus signs rectangle of Daffodil Afternoon Designer Paper so one row of plus signs shows along the top and bottom edge. The right and left edges will be even.
Adhere the layered designer paper rectangles to the stamped Daffodil Delight rectangle so the bottom edge is about 1/4" from the bottom. The left and right edges will be even.
Cut a 4-3/4" piece of the Black & White 1/4" Gingham Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the cardstock/designer paper rectangle about 1/4" from the top of the floral designer paper rectangle. Flip the rectangle over and secure the ends of the ribbon in place with small strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape and add more adhesive to the back of the Daffodil Delight rectangle. Adhere it to the front of the Crushed Curry card.
Unlock the Daisy Punch. Slide one end of the larger Very Vanilla rectangle into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch. Slide the cardstock over a bit and punch again so you have two large daisy punch outs.
Unlock the Medium Daisy Punch. Slide one end of the smaller Very Vanilla rectangle into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch. Slide the cardstock over a bit and punch again so you have two small daisy punch outs.
Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere the two large daisy punch outs together so they make one full large daisy. Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere the two small daisy punch outs together so they make one full small daisy.
Put the layered daisies on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface. You need to make sure that you protect your work surface with paper as the Stampin' Blends Markers do bleed through.
Use the Light and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends to color in the centers of the daisies.
Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere the colored small full daisy to the center of the colored large full daisy.
Adhere the layered, colored daisy to the front of the card so it is centered over the top of the designer paper rectangle on the left side.
Pick out both solid 3 daffodil petals base dies and one of the solid daffodil flutes from the Daffodil Dies. Put them on top of the Pale Papaya rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the machine.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangle to one side of the Flirty Flamingo rectangle. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out both detailed 3 daffodil petals base dies and one of the detailed daffodil flutes from the Daffodil Dies. Put them all on top of the Flirty Flamingo rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Flirty Flamingo (pink) side is face up. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces if needed.
One at a time, peel the protective backings off of the detailed daffodil petals base cut outs and adhere them to the solid daffodil petals base cut outs.
Peel the protective backing off of the detailed daffodil flute cut out and adhere it to the solid daffodil flute cut out.
Adhere the layered 3 petals base cut outs on top of each other to make a full base.
Adhere the layered flute cut out to the center of the layered, stacked petals base cut out.
Using Stampin' Dimensionals, adhere the layered daffodil flower cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the top of the designer paper rectangle and some of the layered daisy punch out as shown.
Cut a 3" piece of the Black & White 1/4" Gingham Ribbon.
Slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon already on the card front so it is centered between the right edge of the card and the right edge of the daffodil. Tie in place with a half knot. Trim the ends.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a large or medium Crushed Curry dot from the sheet of Playing With Patterns Resin Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the layered daisy.
Tip: Because you colored the daisy center with Stampin' Blends, you may need to use a Mini Glue Dot to make sure the resin dot really sticks to the center of the daisy.
