Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Crushed Curry Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Daffodil Delight Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2 pieces each 1" x 4" from Crushed Curry Cardstock
- 2" x 2-3/4" from Basic White Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the So Refreshing Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the outline, set of two small lemons image from the So Refreshing Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Crushed Curry Ink Pad. Stamp it all over the vertical Daffodil Delight rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Change the orientation of the stamp a little each time. Let some of the images go off the edges of the cardstock.
Mount the small, circular citrus slice image from the So Refreshing Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Crushed Curry Ink Pad. Stamp it all over the previously stamped Daffodil Delight rectangle filling in some of the spaces between the previously stamped lemons. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Let some of the images overlap each other and let some go off the edges of the cardstock. Leave the stamp on the block.
Mount the sentiment of choice from the So Refreshing Set on an appropriate size block. Ink it up with the Daffodil Delight Ink Pad. Stamp the sentiment in the center of the horizontal 1-3/4" x 4" white strip on the right side so the right edge of the sentiment is about 1/4" to 1/2" from the right edge.
Adhere one 1" x 4" Crushed Curry strip to the back of the sentiment stamped white strip so about 1/8" of Crushed Curry shows along the top edge.
Pick out the long, skinny, scallop-edge die from the Zany Zoo Dies. Put it on top of the other 1" x 4" Crushed Curry strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it will cut along the bottom long edge and the scallop bumps will be down. Run through the machine.
Adhere the scalloped edge Crushed Curry strip to the bottom of the sentiment stamped white strip so the bumps poke out along the bottom edge.
Adhere the matted sentiment strip to the stamped Daffodil Delight rectangle so the left and right edges are even and the top edge is about 1-1/8" from the top.
Adhere the Daffodil Delight rectangle with attached, matted sentiment strip to the front of the Crushed Curry card.
Mount the full, outline only pitcher image from the So Refreshing Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Crushed Curry Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the remaining white rectangle.
Mount the solid, liquid in the bottom of the pitcher image from the So Refreshing Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Daffodil Delight Ink Pad. Stamp it inside the bottom of the previously stamped outline pitcher image.
Pick out the matching open pitcher die from the So Refreshing Dies. Put it on top of the stamped pitcher on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image.. Run through the machine. Keep ALL the pieces.
Re-ink the small, circular citrus slice image on Block A with the Crushed Curry Ink Pad. Stamp it on the scrap of white cardstock leftover from stamping and cutting out the pitcher.
Pick out the small circle die from the So Refreshing Dies. Put it on top of the stamped lemon slice on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Mount the ice cubes image from the So Refreshing Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Crushed Curry Ink Pad. Stamp it inside the stamped liquid in the pitcher as desired remembering to re-ink the stamp each time.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut a small slit half way into the lemon slice cut out.
Slide the cut lemon slice cut out onto the top of the lemonade pitcher cut out as shown.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the pitcher cut out with lemon slice cut out attached to the front of the card as shown so it is centered between the left side of the sentiment and the left side of the card and the bottom of the pitcher is even with the bottom of the white sentiment strip.
