Project Recipe
Cut card stock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Sweet Sugarplum Card Stock at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored at 2-3/4" and 5-1/2"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Very Vanilla Card Stock
- 3-1/4" x 4" from Sweet Sugarplum Card Stock
- 2-1/2" x 4" from Very Vanilla Card Stock
- 2-3/8" x 3-7/8" from sugarplum flowers on sand background design of paper from Falling in Love Designer Series Paper
- 1-1/2" x 2-3/8" from Sweet Sugarplum
- 2" x 3" from Very Vanilla Card Stock
Fold Sweet Sugarplum card in a z by folding the 2-3/4" score line as a mountain fold and the 5-1/2" score line as a valley fold.
Mount the large outline flower image from the So in Love Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Sweet Sugarplum Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower right corner of the large vanilla rectangle so it goes off the edges.
When happy with your stamping, adhere the stamped vanilla rectangle to the large panel of the card on the right side.
Place the large rectangle of Sweet Sugarplum Card Stock on the Precision Base Plate on the Big Shot Platform. Place the filigree flowers So Detailed Thinlit on top of the card stock so you get the two flowers on the left side of the thinlit on the card stock. Place one Cutting Pad on top and run it through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the card stock from the die if needed and to remove all the little bits.
Put a thin line of Fine-Tip Glue Pen on the back side of the little edge of the detailed flower cut out. Adhere the thin edge to the right side of the skinny panel on the left side of the card.
Adhere the strip of designer paper to the 2-1/2" x 4" piece of Very Vanilla Card Stock. Then, adhere this to the skinny panel on the left side of the card.
Mount the curved diamond frame image from the So in Love Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Sweet Sugarplum Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small vanilla strip.
Mount one of the shorter sentiments from the So in Love Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Sweet Sugarplum Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the stamped frame image.
Place the stamped strip of Very Vanillla Card Stock on the Precision Base Plate on the Big Shot Platform. Place the long skinny So Detailed Thinlit with the cut out in the middle on top of the card stock so the cut out is centered over the framed sentiment. Place one Cutting Pad on top and run it through the Big Shot. Use the Die Brush to remove the card stock from the die if needed and to remove all the little pieces.
Put a little SNAIL Adhesive on the back of the framed sentiment on the vanilla cut out. Place the vanilla cut out upside down on one side of a Silicone Craft Sheet. Cut a Stamping Sponge into quarters and clamp the triangle edge of one quarter in a large binder clip. Squeeze a small amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue on one corner of the Silicone Craft Sheet. Dab the sponge into the glue and then lightly onto the back of the vanilla cut out on the delicate details. Flip the vanilla cut out over and adhere it to the center of the small Sweet Sugarplum rectangle.
Use Paper Snips to trim off excess vanilla card stock on either side of the Sweet Sugarplum layer.
Adhere the sugarplum/vanilla layer to the center of the skinny panel on the left side of the card.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere a Falling in Love Embellishment to the lower right side of the framed sentiment.
Cut a 4" piece of Very Vanilla 1/4" Satin Ribbon and a 4" piece of the Sweet Sugarplum ribbon from the Succulent Garden 3/8" Ribbon Combo Pack. Lay the vanilla ribbon on top of the sugarplum ribbon. Tie the ribbons together in a half knot. Trim the ends. Adhere to the bottom of the framed sentiment with a Mini Glue Dot.
You can keep the sponge in the binder clip and use it again and again for applying glue. Let any excess glue on the Silicone Craft Sheet dry and then just rub it off.
