Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Highland Heather Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Granny Apple Green Cardstock
- 3-7/8 x 5-1/8" from Basic White Cardstock
- 3" square from Highland Heather Cardstock
- 2-1/2" square from Granny Apple Green Cardstock
- 2-1/2" square from Basic White Cardstock
Place the large white rectangle on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface.
Mount the larger, single succulent plant image from the Simply Succulents Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it randomly all over the white rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Let some of the images go off the edges of the cardstock.
Rub a Blending Brush across the open Granny Apple Green Ink Pad to get it inky. Lightly rub the inky Blending Brush over the the tops of some of the stamped succulents on the white cardstock piece. Get more ink on the Blending Brush as needed. Let the color go off the edges of the cardstock if needed.
Tip: I just clean my Blending Brushes when I'm done using them by running them under water until no more color is coming off. Then, I let them air dry. They may be stained, but they are clean enough to use with any color of ink in the future.
