I was inspired to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) these simple autumn colored cards from Connie Stewart of Simply Simple Stamping. I love their retro vibe, that they are quick and easy, and don’t take a ton of supplies. The supply list is below the card instructions. Happy Stamp Dabbling!
Project Recipe
First, the CUTTING
Four card bases cut from 2 - 8.5”x11” pieces of Whisper White Cardstock at 4 1/4” and scored at 5 1/2”.
Four 2 3/4” x 1” pieces of each: Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, and Crushed Curry from the Regals Collection.
Four 1 3/4” circles cut from Whisper White and Basic Black Cardstocks. I used the Stitched Shapes, but you could easily use a punch.
Next...the STAMPING
I used the Momento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad and the sentiments from the To Every Season stamp set from the 2019 Holiday Catalog (page 51) to stamp the Whisper White Stitched Circles.
Lastly, the ASSEMBLY
I used snail to adhere the colored strips as shown and to adhere the white circle overlapping the black circle. I used Stampin Dimensionals to mount the double circle to the card for a nice pop. To embellish, I used Rhinestone Basic Jewels (You’re So Sweet and Thank You), Monster Bash Enamel Shapes (Happy Halloween) and Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels (orange ones/Thankful Each Day For You).
