S oft and pretty thank you card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Lemon Lolly at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Balmy Blue Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 3-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-3/4" square from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 3-3/4" from Lemon Lolly Cardstock
- 1-5/8" x 3-5/8" from Adhesive Sheets
Rub a Blending Brush across the open Balmy Blue Ink Pad to get it inky. Rub most of the ink off on Grid Paper. Very lightly rub the inky Blending Brush across the horizontal 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" white rectangle so the ink is concentrated in the on the right side and bottom. Get more ink on the Blending Brush as needed. .
Tip: I just clean my Blending Brushes when I'm done using them by running them under water until no more color is coming off. Then, I let them air dry. They may be stained, but they are clean enough to use with any color of ink in the future.
As you are ready to stamp using the Season Of Chic Set or Charming Sentiments Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the smaller, sparser splatter image from the Season Of Chic Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Balmy Blue Ink Pad. Stamp it in a rough diagonal from the lower left to the upper right across the blended area as shown. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Change the orientation of the stamp every so often.
Adhere the blended and stamped white rectangle to the center of the Balmy Blue rectangle.
Mount the "thank you" sentiment from the Charming Sentiments Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Balmy Blue Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white strip.
Pick out the fatter tag die with ribbon slots on each end from the Waves Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment top to bottom with the sentiment slightly closer to the right side. Run through the machine.
Cut a 5-3/4" piece of the Lemon Lolly ribbon from the 3/8" Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack.
Thread the ribbon through the slots on the ends of the sentiment tag cut out so the tag is closer to the right side.
Put a small piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the back of the sentiment tag cut out to hold the ribbon in place. Remove the protective backing and adhere the tag and ribbon to the bottom of the matted, blended, and stamped white rectangle so it is about 3/4" from the bottom and right edges. Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ribbon in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Balmy Blue rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the Lemon Lolly card.
Mount the more solid flower image from the Season Of Chic Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Lemon Lolly Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small white square.
Pick out the matching, open, large flower die from the Chic Dies. Put it on top of the stamped image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangle to one side of the Lemon Lolly rectangle. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the large, detailed flower die and both small, detailed flower dies from the Chic Dies. Put them on top of the Lemon Lolly rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Lemon Lolly (yellow) side is face up. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the small, flatter, detailed flower cut out. Adhere it to the front of the card so it overlaps the lower left side of the sentiment tag as shown.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the larger, detailed flower cut out. Adhere it to the top of the stamped flower cut out so the edges line up.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the layered flower cut out to the front of the card as shown so it overlaps the upper part of the small flower cut out and the upper left corner of the sentiment tag cut out.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the remaining small, fuller, detailed flower cut out. Adhere it to the upper right corner of the card as shown.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Lemon Lolly ribbon from the 3/8" Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack.
Slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon already on the card front. Tie in place with a half knot so it is centered over the right edge of the sentiment label cut out as shown. Trim the ends.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up two medium jewels from the sheet of Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the center of the large flower cut out and small flower cut out in the upper right corner of the card as shown.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up one large and two small butterflies from the sheet of Brushed Brass Butterflies making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the card front as shown in a rough triangle around the top of the card.
