Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, foil sheets, and glimmer paper pieces to the following sizes using a cutting and scoring tool:
- card from Highland Heather Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Highland Heather Cardstock
- 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" from Blueberry Bushel Cardstock
- 3-1/8" x 4-3/8" of Blueberry Bushel pattern from Noble Peacock Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 1-3/4" x 3" from Sparkle Glimmer Paper
- 1-1/2" x 2-3/8" of Blueberry Bushel foil from Noble Peacock Foil Sheets
- 1-1/2" x 2-1/2" from Whisper White Cardstock
Insert the Highland Heather rectangle into the Beads & Baubles Embossing Folder so the lines will run vertically down the horizontal rectangle. Use the line drawn on the front flap of the folder to help you line the cardstock up straight. Run the folder with the paper inside through your die cutting and embossing tool.
Adhere the dry embossed Highland Heather rectangle to the front of the Highland Heather card.
Adhere the piece of Noble Peacock Specialty Designer Paper to the Blueberry Bushel rectangle and then to the front of the card in the center.
Pick out the feather die from the Detailed Peacock Dies. Put the die on top of the Sparkle Glimmer Paper rectangle on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool. Make sure the glittery side of the Glimmer Paper is face up. Run through the tool. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and/or paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Place the feather cut out on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface.
Rub a Sponge Dauber across the open Blueberry Bushel Ink Pad to get it inky. Then, daub it over the "eye" in the center of the feather cut out a few times. Get more ink on the Sponge Dauber as needed.
Tip: Try not to rub back and forth too much or the glitter in the Glimmer Paper will tear up the sponge on the Dauber.
Tip: I just clean my Sponge Daubers when I'm done using them by running them under water until no more color is coming off. Then, I let them air dry. They may be stained, but they are clean enough to use with any color of ink in the future.
Rub a Sponge Dauber across the open Highland Heather Ink Pad to get it inky. Then, daub it over the rest of the feather cut out overlapping the blue "eye" a bit. Get more ink on the Sponge Dauber as needed.

Set the feather aside to let it dry.
As you are ready to stamp using the Beautiful Bouquet Photopolymer Set and Royal Peacock Photopolymer Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "thanks a bunch" sentiment from the Beautiful Bouquet Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Blueberry Bushel Ink Pad. Stamp it just to the left of center on the white rectangle.
Mount the curving group of three flowers from the Royal Peacock Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Highland Heather Ink Pad. Stamp it just to the right of center on the white rectangle so the bottom flower overlaps the squiggle at the bottom of the "h" in "bunch" just a bit.
Pick out the smooth oval die from the Layering Ovals Dies that cuts out a smooth oval that is 1-1/16" wide. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment and flowers on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the sentiment and flowers are centered. Run through the tool.
Pick out the scalloped oval die from the Layering Ovals Dies that cuts out a scalloped oval that is 1-3/16" wide. Put it on top of the Blueberry Bushel foil rectangle on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool. Run through the tool.
Adhere the sentiment and flowers oval cut out to the center of the scalloped Blueberry Bushel foil oval cut out using strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the matted sentiment and flowers oval to the bottom right corner of the matted designer paper rectangle on the card front.
Use either Fine-Tip Glue Pen or Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the colored feather cut out to the front of the card so it sticks out to the upper left side of the matted sentiment and flowers oval.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick tool to pick up 1 large Gorgeous Grape rhinestone from a sheet of Noble Peacock Rhinestones being sure to get adhesive as well. Adhere it to the center of the large center flower on the oval.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick tool to pick up 2 small Blueberry Bushel rhinestones from a sheet of Noble Peacock Rhinestones being sure to get adhesive as well. Adhere them to the centers of the small end flowers on the oval.
