Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Pool Party Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 2" x 4-5/8" from Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock
- 1-7/8" x 4-1/2" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-5/8" x 4" of tiny, dashed white lines and flower bursts, tiny light green triangles, and tiny light blue raindrops on dark pink background design from Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper
Make sure you have a piece of Grid Paper on your work surface to protect it from ink. Place the closed Pool Party card on the Grid Paper.
Mount the open, outline puzzle piece image from the Love You To Pieces Set on Block B. Ink it up by LIGHTLY touching it to the Berry Burst Ink Pad. Stamp it randomly all over the card front. Remember to LIGHTLY re-ink the stamp each time. Rotate the orientation of the stamp every so often. Let some of the images go off the sides of the card.
Mount the grouping of tiny hearts image from the Love You To Pieces Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Berry Burst Ink Pad. Stamp it all over the card front in the spaces between the stamped puzzle pieces. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Let some of the images go off the sides of the card.
Unlock the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. Slide one end of the long strip of Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock into the punch as far as it will go. Punch.
Mount the "thanks for keeping me together" sentiment from the Love You To Pieces Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Berry Burst Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white rectangle about 1/2" from the top.
Adhere the stamped white rectangle to the bottom of the Lemon Lime Twist tag.
Cut a 3" piece of the Lemon Lime Twist 1/4" Ombre Ribbon and a 10" piece of Linen Thread.
Slide one end of the ribbon through the ribbon hole in the top of the tag and get it centered on the tag. Use the Linen Thread to tie the ribbon in place with a small bow. Trim the ends of the ribbon in sharp angles. Trim the ends of the Linen Thread.
Adhere the tag to the right side of the stamped card front.
Pick out the single, open, puzzle piece framelit from the Puzzle Pieces Thinlits. Place the strip of Animal Expedition Designer Paper on a Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the puzzle framelit on top as close to one end as possible. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot. Repeat with the other end of the designer paper so you have two puzzle piece cut outs.
Adhere the puzzle pieces to the bottom of the tag on the card front so they overlap each other a bit and hang off the edges of the tag a bit as well.
