Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Petal Pink Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of little half sunbursts all over light tan background design from Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Whisper White Thick Cardstock
Adhere the piece of Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper to the front of the Petal Pink card.
Pick out the large, triangular grouping of flowers and leaves thinlit from the Springtime Impressions Thinlits. Place the piece of Whisper White Thick Cardstock on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the triangular grouping of flowers and leaves thinlit on top so it covers the bottom and left sides of the cardstock. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Put a piece of scratch paper (Grid Paper works great) on top of the Stampin' Pierce Mat to protect it from ink. As you are ready to stamp using the Love What You Do Set, place the cardstock on the paper on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the medium-sized, solid, watercolor blob image from the Love What You Do Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Petal Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it on top of the rose images and small flower images in the cut out until they are completely covered in ink. Remember to re-ink each time. Clean the stamp with the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist, but leave it on the block.
Re-ink the stamp with the Grapefruit Grove Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the rose images and on some of the smaller flowers in the cut out. Remember to re-ink each time. Clean the stamp with the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist, but leave it on the block.
Re-ink the stamp with the So Saffron Ink Pad. Stamp it on top of the three large, pointy flower images in the center of the cut out until they are completely covered in ink. Remember to re-ink each time. Clean the stamp with the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist, but leave it on the block.
Re-ink the stamp with the Pear Pizzazz Ink Pad. Stamp it on top of the leaf sprig images in the cut out until they are completely covered in ink. Remember to re-ink each time. Clean the stamp with the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist, but leave it on the block.
Re-ink the stamp with the Mossy Meadow Ink Pad. Stamp it on top of the other leaf images in the cut out until they are completely covered in ink. Remember to re-ink each time. Clean the stamp with the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist, but leave it on the block.
Re-ink the stamp with the Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad. Stamp it on top of the chrysanthemum image in the cut out until it is completely covered in ink. Remember to re-ink each time. Clean the stamp with the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist and put it away.
Mount the small, solid, watercolor circle image from the Love What You Do Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the rose images in the cut out. Remember to re-ink each time. Clean the stamp with the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist, but leave it on the block.
Re-ink the stamp with the So Saffron Ink Pad. Stamp it on top of the three large, pointy flower images in the center of the cut out to add some areas of darker color. Remember to re-ink each time. Clean the stamp with the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist, but leave it on the block.
As needed, re-ink the stamp with the various colors of ink and stamp it onto any areas that need more color. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time and to clean the stamp between different colors. When finished, clean the stamp with the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist and put it away.
Put small lines and dots of Fine-Tip Glue on the back of the colored cut out. Adhere it to the left side of the card front.
Carefully punch out one of the smaller tags from a sheet of tags in the Share What You Love Embellishment Kit. Place it on the Stampin' Pierce Mat.
Mount the "love what you do" sentiment from the Love What You Do Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the tag. Clean the stamp with Stampin' Mist and the Stampin' Scrub, but leave it on the block.
Re-ink the stamp with the Petal Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it over the previously stamped sentiment on the tag, but slightly offset to create a shadow effect. Clean the stamp and put it away.
Pick out a Grapefruit Grove paper clip from the Share What You Love Embellishment Kit. Slide it onto the upper right side of the stamped tag. Leave a little bit of the paper clip sticking up over the top of the tag.
Cut an 16" piece of Tranquil Tide Baker's Twine from the Share What You Love Embellishment Kit.
Fold the twine in half. Tie the twine to the top of the paper clip in a small bow. Trim the ends.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the tag with ribbon and paper clip attached to the front of the card in the upper right corner.
Carefully peel up 3 Rich Razzleberry pearls from a sheet of Share What You Love Artisan Pearls making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them over the centers of the two small pink flowers in the upper left corner and the one small pink flower in the lower right corner.
Carefully peel up 3 So Saffron pearls from a sheet of Share What You Love Artisan Pearls making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them over the centers of the three yellow flowers in the center.
