Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Fresh Freesia Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Bubble Bath Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2" x 5-1/8" of tiny pink and purple flowers and green leaves on blue background design from Delightfully Eclectic 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 1-1/2" x 4" from Bubble Bath Cardstock
- 1-1/2" square from Fresh Freesia Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the Lasting Joy Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the group of four small flowers image from the Lasting Joy Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Bubble Bath Ink Pad. Stamp it all over the top half of the horizontal white rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Change the orientation of the stamp every so often. Let some of the image go off the edges of the cardstock.
Mount the group of three tiny leaves image from the Lasting Joy Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it all over the top half of the previously stamped white rectangle trying to line it up around some of the larger flowers. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Change the orientation of the stamp every so often. Let some of the images go off the edges of the cardstock.
Adhere the piece of Delightfully Eclectic Designer Paper to the bottom of the stamped white rectangle so the left, bottom, and right edges are even.
Adhere the cardstock/designer paper rectangle to the center of the large Bubble Bath rectangle.
Mount the "I'm so sorry" sentiment from the Lasting Joy Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Fresh Freesia Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small, horizontal Bubble Bath rectangle.
Pick out the long, stitched, cut-out ends label die from the Waves Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is centered in the die. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove pieces as needed.
Cut a 6" piece of the Night Of Navy 3/8" Bordered Ribbon.
Thread the ribbon through the cut outs on either end of the sentiment label cut out so the label is on top of the ribbon and centered top to bottom but closer to the right side.
Put Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the sentiment label cut out with the ribbon threaded through it.
Remove the protective backings from the Stampin' Dimensionals. Adhere the sentiment label cut out with ribbon threaded to it to the matted cardstock/designer paper layer so the right edge of the sentiment label cut out is about 3/4" from the right edge and the ribbon will be centered over the seam between the cardstock and designer paper.
Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ribbon in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Bubble Bath rectangle. Adhere it to the front of the Fresh Freesia card.
Mount the large flower image from the Lasting Joy Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Fresh Freesia Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small Fresh Freesia square.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut out the large flower image by hand.
Adhere the flower cut out to the card front so it covers the right end of the sentiment label cut out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to peel up one one large Bubble Bath oval from the sheet of Opaque Ovals making sure you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the large flower cut out.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Night Of Navy 3/8" Bordered Ribbon.
Slide one end of the ribbon piece under the ribbon already on the card front on the left side of the sentiment label cut out. Tie in place with a half knot. Trim the ends.
