H andmade hello card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Calypso Coral Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1" x 5-1/4" of white dots on Petal Pink background design from Subtles 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
As you are ready to stamp using the Just My Type Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "hello" typewriter keys image from the Just My Type Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Petal Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it along the top of the horizontal white rectangle so the "h" key is in the upper left corner. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and/or Simply Shammy, but leave it on the block.
Re-ink the "hello" typewriter keys image on Block H with the Calypso Coral Ink Pad. Stamp it on the horizontal white rectangle so the "o" key is near the right edge and the image is about 1/4" below the first image. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and/or Simply Shammy, but leave it on the block.
Re-ink the "hello" typewriter keys image on Block H with the Petal Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it on the horizontal white rectangle so the "h" key is near the left edge and the image is about 1/4" below the second image. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and/or Simply Shammy and put it away.
If needed, use the fine tips of the Petal Pink and Calypso Coral Stampin' Write Markers to fill in any spots on the stamped keys.
Mount the single flower image from the Just My Type Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Calypso Coral Ink Pad. Stamp it beside both of the Petal Pink "hello" images as shown remembering to re-ink the stamp. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and/or Simply Shammy, but leave the stamp on the block.
Re-ink the single flower image on Block A with the Petal Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it beside the Calypso Coral "hello" image as shown. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and/or Simply Shammy and put it away.
Use the brush tip of the Petal Pink Stampin' Write Marker to color in the petals of all the flowers.
Adhere strip of Subtles Designer Paper to the bottom of the stamped and colored white rectangle. The left, right, and bottom edges will be even.
Cut a 5-3/4" piece of the Calypso Coral 3/16" Braided Linen Trim.
Lay the ribbon across the layered cardstock/designer paper rectangle so it covers the seam between the pieces. Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ribbon in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the white rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the Calypso Coral card.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 small Calypso Coral and 2 small gold gems from the sheet of Iridescent Pastel Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere the Calypso Coral gem to the center of the completely Petal Pink flower next to the Calypso Coral "hello" and the two gold gems to the centers of the other two flowers.
Cut a 3" piece of the Calypso Coral 3/16" Braided Linen Trim.
Slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon already on the card front on the left side. Tie in place with a half knot. Trim the ends.
