B right, cheery celebration card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Sweet Sorbet Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Petal Pink Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5/18" of tiny white flowers on red background design from Bee Mine 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 1" x 4-3/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 3/4" x 3-1/4" of pink, white, and red stripes design from Bee Mine 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the stripes are vertical on the horizontal strip
- 3/4" x 3-1/4" of white honeycomb on pink background design from Bee Mine 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
Adhere the large piece of flowered Bee Mine Designer Paper to the center of the Petal Pink rectangle and then to the front of the Sweet Sorbet card.
Unlock the Banners Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of the the white strip into the right side of the punch (the side of the punch with the inward notch) as far as it will go and get it centered. Punch. Repeat on the other end.
As you are ready to stamp using the Happy Little Things Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the open block letter "celebrate" sentiment from the Happy Little Things Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Sweet Sorbet Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the punched white strip closer to the top edge.
Mount the solid block letter "celebrate" sentiment from the Happy Little Things Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Petal Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the previously stamped word on the punched white strip.
Mount the "the little things" sentiment from the Happy Little Things Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Sweet Sorbet Pad. Stamp it in on the punched white strip just under the previously stamped word on the right side.
Pick out the notched strip die from the Happy Little Things Dies. Put it on top of the striped Bee Mine Designer Paper strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Repeat with the honeycomb Bee Mine Designer Paper strip.
Cut the two notched designer paper strip cut outs in half.
Adhere the strips to the back of the "celebrate" punched strip as shown so they will hang down on the left side at various lengths and overlap each other a bit.
Cut a 5-1/4" piece of the Sweet Sorbet 1/4" Bordered Ribbon so it has a sharp angle on each end.
Use Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the piece of ribbon to the back of the stamped and layered "celebrate" punch strip as shown so it is centered and the ends of the ribbon stick out a bit on each end.
Put Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the center of the punched "celebrate" strip with ribbon and designer paper banners attached. Remove the protective backings from the Dimensionals and Tear & Tape on the ends. Adhere the punched strip to the front of the card so it is centered side to side and is about 1" from the top.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 2 large and 1 small pink flowers from a sheet of Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere one large flower to the front of the card in the angle between the bottom of the "celebrate" punched strip and the top left side of the left most banner. Adhere the other two over some flowers printed on the designer paper below the sentiment strip.
