I often hear from people that they love the card I’ve made and they wish they could do it, but they aren’t creative. I’ll let you in on a secret – I don’t think I’m as creative as people seem to think! There are many options out there to inspire you or to CASE (Copy and Share Everything!). Paper Pumpkin is a great option for anyone that is short on time, space or just wants step by step instructions and everything prepped! It is all inclusive and delivered in a cute box every month! Another great resource is the catalog. So I have challenged myself to start using the catalogs more. This week I used the Occasions catalog. On page 28 is the Tutti-Frutti Suite. I love the bright colors and summery fun in this suite. Perhaps that is because it is snowing again in Northern Minnesota.
Project Recipe
The card base is Daffodil Delight cardstock cut at 8.5" x 5.5" scored at 4.25". The layer is Whisper White cardstock is cut to 3.5" x 5.25".
On the Whisper White layer I stamped the inside of the lemon in Daffodil Delight ink, but I stamped it off once each time before stamping on the card. The rind was also stamped in Daffodil Delight without stamping off. I stamped 2 of the lemons on a piece of Whisper White cardstock and punched them out with the Itty Bitty Punch pack wedge punch.
I stamped the sentiment in Lemon Lime Twist ink on a piece of Whisper White about 1" wide and 4" long. I just trimmed it down by eyeing it.
I attached a piece of Lemon Lime Twist 3/8" Mini Striped Ribbon with SNAIL adhesive. Then I attached the sentiment also with SNAIL.
I attached the punched wedges with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals in random spots on the card. I also added 3 of the new Tutti-Frutti Adhesive Back Sequins to random places on the card.
