T his card uses the beautiful Hues of Happiness Suite and the Dots & Spots Die Cut.
Project Recipe
Cut card base to 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 and score at 4-1/4 from Thick Basic White cardstock. Fold on the score line and burnish with a bone folder.
Cut Melon Mambo cardstock to 4 x 5-1/4. Run through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine with the Dots & Spots die cut. Adhere to the front of the card with liquid glue, leaving equal borders on all four sides.
Die cut Basic White cardstock with the Stylish Shapes circle die cut, from a piece that is about 2-3/4 x 2-3/4.
Die cut a piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock that is about 3 x 3 with the Layering Circle Dies. Adhere to back of Basic White circle die cut.
Cut a piece of Hues of Happiness DSP to 1-3/4 x 5. Adhere to left side of card front, leaving equal borders on 3 sides.
Using Basic White scraps, stamp two flowers, one of each leaf cluster, and the "friend" sentiment from the Happiness Abounds stamp set with Tuxedo Black ink, Cut the sentiment to about 1/2 x 2-1/2 and adhere to a piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock that is about 3/4 x 2-3/4. Die cut the stamped images with the Blossoming Happiness dies.
Using Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo, and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends, color in the flowers and leaves. Adhere to circles in desired manner, popping one of the flowers up on dimensionals.
Add dimensionals to the back of the sentiment piece and adhere as shown in the sample.
Use Glossy Dots to embellish.
For the inside of the card, adhere a strip of DSP that is about 1/8 x 4-1/4 near the bottom of the card. Stamp desired greeting inside.
Stamp a leaf cluster in Granny Apple Green ink on the bottom left hand corner of the envelope. If you want to color in the leaves, place a scrap of cardstock inside the envelope to protect the ink from bleeding through the envelope.
