Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- 2-3/4" square from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-3/8" x 10" of lines of honey pots on white background design from Bee Mine 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the lines of honey pots are horizontal on the horizontal strip
Place a box from the Square Pillow Gift Boxes on some Grid Paper on your work surface.
Mount the set of three small bees image from the Fluffiest Friends Set on Block A. Ink it up with Daffodil Delight Ink Pad. Stamp it randomly all over the box. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Change the orientation of the stamp a bit each time. Let some of the images go off the edges.
Fold the stamped box on all score lines. Carefully remove the protective backings on the side pieces and adhere the box together.
Carefully wrap the designer paper around the center of the box pressing it in place as you go. Adhere the ends together on the front of the box.
Put Stampin' Seal on the back of the strip of honey pots designer paper on both long edges and the short ends.
Mount the bear with honey pot image from the Fluffiest Friends Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white square.
Pick out the matching bear die from the Fluffiest Friends Dies. Put it on top of the stamped image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Place the bear cut out on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface. You need to make sure that you protect your work surface with paper as the Stampin' Blends Markers do bleed through.
Use the Light and Dark Basic Black Stampin' Blends to color in the bear's nose and pads on the bottom of his foot and to outline his claws.
Use the Light and Dark Daffodil Delights Stampin' Blends to color in the honey.
Use the Light and Dark Cajun Craze Stampin' Blends to color in the honey pot.
Use the Natural Tones Stampin' Blends to color in the rest of the bear.
Use the Color Lifter Stampin' Blends to remove any excess color and blend the edges.
Adhere the colored bear cut out to the front of the box so it covers the seam between the ends of the designer paper and is centered.
Fill the box with treats.
Fold the tops of the box closed.
