P retty treat envelopes using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut card stock and designer series paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- 6" x 6" of one of the flowers on white background designs from Blooms & Bliss Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/2" square from Whisper White Card Stock
- 1-1/2" x 2-1/2" of coordinating designer paper from Blooms & Bliss Designer Series Paper
- 3-1/2" x 5" piece of wax paper scored at 2-1/2" to fold it in half (optional)
Pick out the envelope thinlit from the Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlits. Place the larger piece of designer paper on top of a Cutting Pad on your Platform on your Big Shot. Place the thinlit on top and position it so it will cut out the entire envelope piece. Make sure none of the edges of the thinlit are hanging over the edges of the platform or they could snag on the center of the Big Shot and break or bend. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Fold the envelope on all score lines. Leave the two small side flaps folded in. Put small strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive along the edges of one of the large flaps on the under side. Remove the protective backings and fold the large flap up over the two side flaps. Press firmly to make sure everything is securely adhered.
If you plan to put any kind of food inside the envelope, you might want to line it with some wax paper. If so, fold the wax paper in half along the score line and slide it into the envelope with the folded edge down.
Insert your gift card, candy, or other treat into the envelope.
Cut a 10" piece of ribbon. Tie the ribbon around the center of the envelope to hold it closed using a simple knot. Leave the knot on the front of the envelope at the bottom. Trim the ends.
Mount the "Thanks for being you" sentiment from the Suite Sayings Set on Block B. Using the brush tip of either the Sweet Sugarplum or the Island Indigo Marker, ink up only the word "thanks." Breathe on the stamp to make sure the ink is moist. Stamp it on the strip of designer paper so it is closer to the right edge.
Pick out the pointed tag framelit from the Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlits. Place the stamped strip of designer paper on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the tag framelit on top so the stamped image is to the right. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the tag to the upper right side of the front of the envelope at an angle with the pointed end of the tag overlapping the ribbon.
Place the white card stock square on top of the Stampin' Pierce Mat. This will help you get a good image when stamping with photopolymer stamps.
Mount the larger, solid, multi-petal flower image from the Flower Patch Photopolymer Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Blushing Bride or Mint Macaron Ink Pad and stamp it in the center of the white square.
Mount the smaller, solid, multi-petal flower image from the Flower Patch Photopolymer Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Sweet Sugarplum or Island Indigo Ink Pad and stamp it in the center of the previously stamped flower.
Pick out the matching, multi-petal flower framelit from the Flower Fair Framelits. Place the stamped flower image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the flower framelit on top so it is centered over the stamped image. You may have to rotate the framelit around to find the best fit. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the flower to the center of the front of the envelope using Stampin' Dimensionals. Let it overlap the left edge of the tag.
Add a Dapper Denim or Sweet Sugarplum circle from the 2016-2018 In Color Enamel Shapes to the center of the flower.
