F un, modern Christmas card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Poppy Parade Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Melon Mambo Cardstock
- 2-1/4" square of diagonal lines of different colored circles on white background design of Merry Bold & Bright 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2-3/4" square from Crushed Curry Cardstock
- 2-1/2" square from Basic White Cardstock
Insert the Melon Mambo rectangle into the dotted embossing folder included in the Basics 3D Embossing Folders. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the dry embossed Melon Mambo rectangle to the front of the Poppy Parade card.
Mount the moose with Christmas pudding image from the Festive & Fun Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it on the Crushed Curry square so you get the top of the moose and have room to cut it out with a circle die in the next step.
Pick out the circle die from the Deckled Circles Dies that cuts out a 2-1/8" circle. Put it on top of the stamped moose square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so you cut out the top of the moose and it is evenly spaced within the circle. Run through the machine. Leave the die out.
Put the circle die that cuts out a 2-1/8" circle on top of the Merry Bold & Bright Designer Paper square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Mount the "a little something for you with lots of love from me" sentiment from the Festive & Fun Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white square.
Pick out the circle die from the Deckled Circles Dies that cuts out a 1-3/4" circle. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine it is centered over the sentiment. Run through the machine.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the circles on the card front as shown to figure out spacing and placement. When happy with the placement, adhere the circles in place one at a time.
Cut a 3" piece of the Sweet Sorbet 1/4" Bordered Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the card front at a slight angle as shown so it is centered where the three circles meet.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up three Poppy Parade discs from the sheet of Iridescent Adhesive-Backed Discs making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the card front as shown.
