Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, Foil Sheets, and Glimmer Paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- 2-1/2" x 3-1/4" from Grapefruit Grove Cardstock
- 2" x 3-1/4" from Night of Navy Cardstock
- 2" x 4" from Gold Glimmer Paper
- 2" x 3-1/4" from Gold Foil Sheets
- scrap of Grapefruit Grove Cardstock
Rub the Embossing Buddy across the Grapefruit Grove and Night of Navy Cardstock pieces.
As you are ready to stamp using the photopolymer stamps from the Darling Label Punch Box, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "thanks" with flowers image from the Darling Label Punch Box on the block that comes in the box. Ink it up with the VersaMark Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the large Grapefruit Grove Cardstock piece near one side (leaving room to punch out the circle). Re-ink the stamp with the VersaMark Ink Pad and stamp it in the center of the Night of Navy Cardstock piece near one side (leaving room to punch out the image). Re-ink the stamp with the VersaMark Ink Pad and stamp it on the scrap of Grapefruit Grove Cardstock so you get the word "thanks" inside the rectangle.
Lay the stamped cardstock pieces on top of some Grid Paper in the center. Sprinkle on some Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder so it covers all of the stamped images. Tap off excess powder. Return the excess powder to the container to use again later.
Heat the powder on all three cardstock pieces with the Heat Tool until it is completely melted (smooth and shiny).
Tip: Use a clothespin to hold small pieces of cardstock while using the Heat Tool to avoid burning your fingers.
Unlock the 2" Circle Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped, heat embossed. large Grapefruit Grove Cardstock into the punch and get the image centered in the punching area. Punch.
Unlock the Darling Label Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped, heat embossed Night of Navy Cardstock into the punch and get the image centered in the punching area. Punch.
VERY, VERY LIGHTLY adhere the Night of Navy punch out over the heat embossed image on the Grapefruit Grove circle punch out. Unlock the small, double punch from the Bitty Blooms Punch Pack. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, carefully slide the upper left corner of the Grapefruit Grove circle punch out into the punch so ONLY the circle punching area is centered in the notch of the Night of Navy punch out. Punch.
Remove the Night of Navy punch out from the center of the Grapefruit Grove circle punch out.
Use Paper Snips to carefully cut out the word "thanks" inside the rectangle that is heat embossed on the scrap of Grapefruit Grove Cardstock.
Use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen or Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the Grapefruit Grove, heat embossed word cut out over the word heat embossed on the Night of Navy punch out.
Unlock the Leaf Punch. Slide one end of the piece of Gold Glimmer Paper into the punch. Punch. Slide the other end of the Gold Glimmer Paper into the punch. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
Slide one end of the piece of Gold Foil Sheets into the Leaf Punch. Punch.
Cut a 6" piece of Gold Mini Sequin Trim. Fold the trim in half.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the folded sequin trim and leaf punch outs to the back of the Night of Navy punch out. Make sure that one glimmer leaf will stick out to the left side of the Night of Navy punch out when it is face up and that the remaining two leaf punch outs stick out to the lower right side of the Night of Navy punch out when it is face up and that the leaf punch outs overlap each other a bit. Make sure the trim will hang down from the lower right side of the Night of Navy punch out when it is face up.
Remove the protective backings from the Dimensionals and adhere the Night of Navy punch out with leaf punch outs and trim attached over the heat embossed image in the center of the Grapefruit Grove circle punch out.
Cut a 4-1/2" piece of the Grapefruit Grove twine from the Nature's Twine.
Fold the twine in half. Stick the folded ends of the twine through the hole punched in the Grapefruit Grove circle punch out from the back side. Feed the two loose ends of the twine through the loop and pull it tight. Tie a half knot in the two loose ends of the twine. Trim the excess twine off.
Cut a 4" piece of the Gold 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the tag over the looped end of the twine going through the hole in the tag.
Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere the tag to the front of the Darling Label Punch Box tin in the upper right corner if desired.
