Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Pale Papaya Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Garden Green Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of Heart & Home 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper with tiny leaf stems on green background on one side and white plank wall on other, cut so the planks are horizontal on the vertical rectangle then cut vertically down vertical rectangle at 1-3/8" and flip one piece over
- 2-1/2" x 4-1/4" from Garden Green Cardstock
- 2-3/4" x 6" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2" x 4" from Basic White Cardstock
If you haven't already done so, cut vertically down the vertical Heart & Home Designer Paper rectangle at 1-3/8" and flip one piece over.
Mount the "smile," or "friend" sentiment from the Daisy Lane Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it in the upper right corner of the plank piece of Heart & Home Designer Paper so it is centered inside a plank.
Adhere the stamped plank designer paper piece to the right side of the large Garden Green rectangle so about 1/16" of green shows on the top, right, and bottom edges.
Adhere the tiny leaf stems on green designer paper piece to the left side of the large Garden Green rectangle so about 1/16" of green shows on the top, left, and bottom edges and the right edge meets the left edge of the plank designer paper piece.
Cut a 6" piece of the White 3/4" Frayed Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the cardstock/designer paper rectangle so it covers the seam between the designer paper pieces. Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ribbon in place on the back of the rectangle using strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Garden Green rectangle. Adhere to the front of the Pale Papaya card.
Pick out the large, fern-like leaves die from the Meadow Dies. Put it on top of the remaining Garden Green rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Mount the large daisy image from the Daisy Lane Set on Block D so one petal is straight down. Ink it up with the Pale Papaya Ink Pad. Stamp it two times on the fatter horizontal strip of white cardstock. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Make sure one petal is pointing straight down for each daisy. Leave a little space between each daisy so you can punch them out.
Unlock the Daisy Punch (larger one). Hold it upside down so you can see the punching area. Get one daisy image lined up in the punching area. Punch. Repeat so you have punched out both daisies.
Adhere one large daisy punch out to the center of the other large daisy punch out slightly offset to make one full daisy.
Mount the small daisy image from the Daisy Lane Set on Block C so one petal is straight down. Ink it up with the Pale Papaya Ink Pad. Stamp it on the remaining thinner horizontal strip of white cardstock. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Make sure one petal is pointing straight down for each daisy. Leave a little space between each daisy so you can punch them out.
Unlock the Medium Daisy Punch (smaller one). Hold it upside down so you can see the punching area. Get the daisy image lined up in the punching area. Punch. Repeat so you have punched out both daisies.
Adhere one small daisy punch out to the center of the other small daisy punch out slightly offset to make one full daisy.
Adhere the double small daisy to the center of the large, double daisy.
Put strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive across the back of the layered daisy.
Lay the fern cut out on the front of the card at a slight angle so the top of the fern is just under the stamped sentiment and the stem of the fern overlaps the ribbon.
Remove the protective backings on the Tear & Tape pieces on the back of the layered daisy. Adhere the layered daisy to the card front so it is centered over the ribbon about 1/2" from the bottom and covers the bottom of the fern cut out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up one large pearlescent white gem from the sheet of Elegant Faceted Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the layered daisy.
