P retty card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Pear Pizzazz Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Berry Burst Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 4" from Shimmery White Cardstock
- 1-1/4" square from Pear Pizzazz Cardstock
Mount the small striped orchid image from the Climbing Orchid Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Berry Burst Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the Shimmery White Cardstock strip.
Mount both of the small bud images from the Climbing Orchid Set on Block B so there is some space between them. Ink them up with the Berry Burst Ink Pad and stamp them on the other end of the Shimmery White Cardstock strip.
Pick out the small orchid framelit and both of the bud framelits from the Orchid Builder Framelits. Place the stamped orchid and bud images on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the framelits on top so they are centered over the stamped images. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Without adhering, place the orchid image upside down on top of the large white rectangle so it is about 1/2" from the bottom and about 3/4" from the right side and the orchid is at a slight angle.
Mount the longer, straight branch image from the Climbing Orchid Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Pear Pizzazz Ink Pad. Slide the upside down orchid image up just a tiny bit. Stamp the branch image on the white layer so the branch is at a slight angle and goes off the bottom of the white layer and the top will be hidden by the orchid image.
Mount the larger, forked branch image from the Climbing Orchid Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Pear Pizzazz Ink Pad. Slide the upside down orchid image down just a bit. Stamp the forked branch image on the white layer so that the bottom will be hidden behind the orchid and the forked ends point up and to the left just a bit.
Mount one of the longer sentiments from the Climbing Orchid Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Berry Burst Ink Pad. Slide the upside down orchid image to the right just a bit. Stamp the sentiment to the left of the stamped stems about 1/4" from the bottom of the white layer.
Remove the small orchid image and set it aside with your bud images for now.
Place the stamped piece of Whisper White Cardstock inside the Ruffled 3D Dynamic Embossing Folder. Make sure you can see the images stamped on the cardstock and that you can read the logos printed on the front of the embossing folder. Carefully line up the cardstock so that the sentiment is mostly centered between two of the ruffled lines running horizontally. Place the folder with the card stock inside directly on your Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Place a Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
VERY IMPORTANT: You are using only ONE Cutting Pad. If you try to use two, the sandwich will be too thick and you could damage the Big Shot.
Adhere the dry embossed, stamped white layer to the Berry Burst layer and then to the front of the Pear Pizzazz card.
Mount the small leaf image from the Climbing Orchid Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Pear Pizzazz Ink Pad and stamp it in the center of the Pear Pizzazz square.
Pick out the small leaf framelit from the Orchid Builder Framelits. Place the stamped leaf image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the leaf framelit on top so it is centered over the stamped leaf image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the leaf image to the card front using SNAIL so the leaf goes off to the right side of the large stem at a slight angle.
Put regular Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the small orchid image. Remove the protective backings and adhere the orchid to the card front at a slight angle so it covers the top end of the large stem and the bottom end of the forked stem.
Put Mini Stampin' Dimensionals on the backs of the buds. Remove the protective backings and adhere the buds to the card front so they are at the ends of the forked stem.
Adhere a small Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the center of the orchid.
