T he embossing folder does a lot of the work on this card! Just add a sentiment and some bling and you are done. This embossing folder can be used in portrait or landscape orientation.
Project Recipe
Measurements:
Thick Basic White -
8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score @ 4 1/4"
2 1/4" x 2 1/4" - die cut 2" circle
3 3/4" x 5" - 2nd card layer (Embossed)
Real Red -
5 1/4" x 4" - 1st card layer
2 1/2" x 2 1/2" for 2 1/4" circ;e
Gold Foil -
2 3/4" x 2 3/4" for 2 1/2" circle die-cut
(use 2nd largest circle from Stylish
Shapes dies)
Red/Gold Ribbon -
6 1/2"
Gold Trim -
Enough to tie a small bow
Score and burnish Thick White card base. Attach the 5 1/4" x 5" layer of Real Red to the front of the card base.
Take the 3 3/4" x 5" piece of Basic White cardstock and run it through the Christmas Tidings Embossing Folder. NOTE - This folder can be used in portrait or landscape orientation.
Take the Red/Gold ribbon and wrap it around the middle of the embossed Basic White Layer. Adhere the ends to the back of the layer using double-sided adhesive. Adhere this layer to the Real Red layer on the card front.
Punch a 2" circle from Basic White
Punch and a 2 1/4" circle from Real Red
Using the 2nd largest circle in the Stylish Shapes dies (2 1/2"), cut a circle from the Gold Foil paper.
Stamp your sentiment using Real Red ink on the Basic White circle. Attach that to the Real Red circle, then attach them to the Gold Foil circle.
Using dimensionals, adhere the circles to the card front.
Using a glue dot, attach the gold trim ribbon under the stamped sentiment.
Add your choice of gold embellishments.
Stamp your sentiment inside the card using Real Red ink.
You are finished!
