P retty Christmas card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Mossy Meadow Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Cherry Cobbler Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 3" of gold diamonds on red background design from Christmastime Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 1-1/2" x 2-1/2" from Whisper White Cardstock
Mount the large roses and greenery outline image that is cling from the Christmas Rose Set on Block F. Ink it up with the Mossy Meadow Ink Pad. Stamp it all over the large (3-7/8" x 5-1/8") white rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Let some of the images go off the edges of the cardstock.
Touch the tip of the Blender Pen to the edge of the Golden Glitz Delicata Metallic Ink Pad to pick up some ink. Color in the folded over parts of the rose petals and the holly berries on the stamped images. Remember to stroke in one direction only or the cardstock will tear and pill up. Get more ink of the tip of the Blender Pen as needed.
Tip: The Delicata Metallic Inks dry almost instantly, so no need to heat set or wait for them to dry.
Tip: Scribble on Grid Paper until no more color is coming off the Blender Pen to clean it.
Adhere the stamped and colored white rectangle to the Cherry Cobbler rectangle and then to the front of the Mossy Meadow card.
Pick out the larger, slightly oval label die from the Roses Dies. Put it on top of the Christmastime Is Here Designer Paper on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool. Run through the tool.
As you are ready to stamp using the Christmas Rose Photopolymer Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "May this Christmas..." or "Wishing you the gifts..." sentiment from the Christmas Rose Photopolymer Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Mossy Meadow Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the remaining, small white piece.
Pick out the smaller, angular label die from the Roses Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the sentiment is centered. Run through the tool.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of Gold 1/4" Shimmer Ribbon so it has sharp angles on each end.
Use Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the ribbon to the back of the sentiment label cut out so it is centered and the ends of the ribbon stick out on the left and right sides.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment label cut out with ribbon attached to the center of the designer paper label cut out.
Adhere the layered labels to the bottom right side of the card front.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick tool to pick up 5 different sized dots from a sheet of Gold Glitter Enamel Dots being sure to get the adhesives as well. Adhere them randomly to the card front.
