Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Balmy Blue Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Petal Pink Cardstock
- 1-5/8" x 5-1/8" of rows of bikes with baskets of flowers on white background design from Country Floral Lane 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so you get a line of horizontal bikes centered on the horizontal strip
- 3-1/2" x 5-1/8" of diagonal white lines on blue background design from Country Floral Lane 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 3" x 4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2" square from Basic White Cardstock
Adhere the strip of bikes Country Floral Lane Designer Paper to the bottom of the vertical Petal Pink rectangle so about 1/16" of Petal Pink shows on the bottom, left, and right edges.
Adhere the diagonal white stripes on blue Country Floral Lane Designer Paper to the top of the vertical Petal Pink rectangle so about 1/16" of Petal Pink shows on the top, left, and right edges.
Cut a 4-1/2" piece of the Petal Pink ribbon from the Ribbon Duo Combo Pack.
Lay the ribbon across the layered cardstock/designer paper rectangle so it covers the seam between the two pieces of designer paper. Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ribbon in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Petal Pink rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the Balmy Blue card.
As you are ready to stamp using the Charming Sentiments Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "thank you" sentiment from the Charming Sentiments Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Balmy Blue Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 2" white square.
Pick out the smooth circle die from the Layering Circles Dies that cuts out a circle that is 1-3/8" in diameter. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment. Run through the machine.
Use the side of the brush tip of the Petal Pink Stampin' Write Marker to carefully outline the edge of the circle cut out.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment circle cut out to the front of the card so it is centered over the ribbon on the right side.
Pick out the large, connected 3 daisies and leaves die from the Cheerful Daisy Dies. Put it on top of the remaining white rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut off the leaves from the cut out daisies and leaves.
Put the cut out daisies on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface. Use the brush tip of the Petal Pink Stampin' Write Marker to color in the centers and cone of the daisies.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the colored daisies cut out to the front of the card so it is centered at an angle as shown on the blue designer paper at the top of the card.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 small and 2 large Petal Pink gems from the sheet of Elegant Faceted Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the front of the card as shown on the colored centers and cone of the daisies.
