Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Pool Party Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Blueberry Bushel Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2" x 6" of light blue textile design from Softly Stippled 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 1" x 3-1/2" from Blueberry Bushel Cardstock
- 3/4" x 3-1/4" from Pool Party Cardstock
Insert the white rectangle into the crosshatched embossing folder included in the Basics 3D Embossing Folders. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the dry embossed white rectangle to the center of the large Blueberry Bushel rectangle and then to the front of the Pool Party card.
Unlock the Country Bouquet Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide one end of the horizontal Softly Stippled Designer Paper strip into the punch and get it centered in the large heart punching area. Punch. Slide the designer paper over a bit and punch again. Repeat until you have 3 large hearts punched out of the designer paper. Leave the punch unlocked.
Holding the unlocked Country Bouquet Punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide one end of the horizontal, thin Blueberry Bushel strip into the punch and get it centered in the small heart punching area. Punch. Slide the cardstock over a bit and punch again. Repeat until you have 3 small hearts punched out of the Blueberry Bushel cardstock.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the punched out large, designer paper hearts and the punched out small, dark blue hearts on the left side of the card front as shown to figure out spacing and placement.
When happy with the placement, adhere the hearts in place one at a time using Stampin' Seal and/or Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere most of them. Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the small, dark blue heart on the bottom.
As you are ready to stamp using the Charming Sentiments Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "so tiny, so precious" sentiment from the Charming Sentiments Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Blueberry Bushel Ink Pad. Stamp it on the thin, horizontal, Pool Party rectangle.
Pick out the matching die from the Sentiment Silhouettes Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment. Run through the machine.
Tip: Use a Post-It Note to help hold the die in place.
Cut thin pieces of dimensional from the edges of the Mini Stampin' Dimensionals sheet. Use them to adhere the sentiment cut out to the front of the card as shown so it overlaps the large heart punch out at the bottom near the center of the heart and just touches the top edge of the small heart punch out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 small and 2 large Pool Party gems from the sheet of Opaque Faceted Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them randomly to the card front as shown.
