P retty card perfect for a December birthday or thank you card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Garden Green Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Real Red Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 5" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 3" from Garden Green Cardstock
- 1" x 3-7/8" of small dark green plaid design from Gingham Cottage 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
As you are ready to stamp using the Bottled Happiness Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the large, bouquet with more solid flowers image from the Bottled Happiness Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Rotate the block so the stamp is oriented the way it is shown on the front of the stamp case. Stamp it in the upper left corner of the vertical 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" white rectangle.
Mount the large, bouquet with more leaves and flower centers image from the Bottled Happiness Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Rotate the block so the stamp is oriented the way it is shown on the front of the stamp case. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped flowers so you fill in the leaves, stems, and flower centers.
Adhere the strip of Gingham Cottage Designer Paper to the bottom of the stamped white rectangle. The left, bottom, and right edges should be even.
Adhere the stamped white rectangle with designer paper attached to the center of the Real Red rectangle and then to the front of the Garden Green card.
Mount the large, more solid glass bottle image from the Bottled Happiness Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it on the bottom of the vertical 1-1/4" x 5" white strip as close to the bottom edge as possible. Make sure the top of the bottle is pointing up.
Unlock the Vintage Bottle Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped bottle image into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch. KEEP BOTH PIECES OF CARDSTOCK!
If you want to give the bottle a cut glass effect, then use the Real Red Watercolor Pencil to draw small lines near the top and bottom of the bottle as shown. The lines should slant inwards. Then, use the white Watercolor Pencil to draw reflection lines right beside each of the red lines.
Adhere the bottle punch out to the front of the card so the top of the bottle is centered just under the bouquet as shown and the bottom of the bottle slightly overlaps the top of the designer paper.
Mount the "sending a little message" sentiment from the Bottled Happiness Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it on the other end of the previously punched white strip leaving room to punch it out.
Unlock the Double Oval Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the sentiment into the punch and get it centered in the smooth oval punching area. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
Holding the unlocked Double Oval Punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the Garden Green strip into the punch and get it centered in the scalloped oval punching area. Punch.
Adhere the sentiment oval punch out to the center of the Garden Green scalloped oval punch out.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the layered sentiment ovals to the front of the card so it is centered over the top of the designer paper and overlaps the right side of the bottle bottom a bit.
Cut a 16" piece of the Garden Green twine from the Three Twine Combo Pack.
Fold the twine in half. Tie a small bow in the center of the folded twine. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the twine bow to the front of the card at a slight angle as shown so it covers the bottom left of the bottle punch out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up three jewels from a sheet of Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them in a rough triangle in the upper right corner of the card as shown.
