Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Garden Green Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of tiny, light green leaf stems on darker green background design from Heart & Home Designer Series Paper
- 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1/2" x 3-1/2" from Misty Moonlight
Cardstock
Adhere the piece of Heart & Home Designer Paper to the front of the Garden Green card.
Mount the large flower bouquet image from the Blessings Of Home Stamp Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Saddle Brown StazOn Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the vanilla rectangle.
Pick out the matching, large, open bouquet die from the Flowers Of Home Dies. Put it on top of the stamped bouquet image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Tip: It is often better to cut an image out with dies before spending all the time to color it in. That way if the die slips during the cutting process, you haven't wasted a lot of time on the coloring.
Squeeze the lid of the Pale Papaya Ink Pad to get ink in the lid. Use a Blender Pen to pick up ink from the pad lid and color in the centers of the flowers. Remember to stroke in one direction only or the cardstock will tear and pill up. Scribble on Grid Paper when you are done until no more color is coming off the Blender Pen.
Squeeze the lid of the Fresh Freesia Ink Pad to get ink in the lid. Use a Blender Pen to pick up ink from the pad lid and color in the petals of the smaller flowers in the bouquet as shown. Remember to stroke in one direction only or the cardstock will tear and pill up. Scribble on Grid Paper when you are done until no more color is coming off the Blender Pen.
Squeeze the lid of the Misty Moonlight Ink Pad to get ink in the lid. Use a Blender Pen to pick up ink from the pad lid and color in the tiny flowers in the bouquet as shown. Also use the Blender Pen with Misty Moonlight to color over the darker areas of the large flower petals. Remember to stroke in one direction only or the cardstock will tear and pill up. Scribble on Grid Paper when you are done until no more color is coming off the Blender Pen.
Squeeze the lid of the Garden Green Ink Pad to get ink in the lid. Use a Blender Pen to pick up ink from the pad lid and color in the leaves of the bouquet. Remember to stroke in one direction only or the cardstock will tear and pill up. Scribble on Grid Paper when you are done until no more color is coming off the Blender Pen.
Squeeze the Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush to get lots of ink on the brush tip. Squeeze the lid of the Misty Moonlight Ink Pad to get ink in the lid. Use the brush tip of the Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush to pick up ink from the pad lid and color in the rest of the large flower petals. Scribble on Grid Paper when you are done until no more color is coming off the Glitter Brush.
Tip: Use a clean baby wipe, tissue, or paper towel to wipe up the ink in the pad lid so you don't contaminate the pad with sparkly liquid.
Unlock the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of the thin Misty Moonlight strip into the left side of the punch (the side of the punch with the bumpier top) as far as it will go and get it centered. Punch.
Mount the "thank you for inspiring me" sentiment from the Blessings Of Home Set on Block C. Carefully press the "thank you" portion of the stamp only to the open Garden Green Ink Pad so you will ink up only the words "thank you." Stamp the sentiment on the punched strip so the punched end is on the left and the beginning of the sentiment is about 3/8" from the end of the strip.
Adhere the sentiment punch out to the upper left side of the bouquet so the right end of the sentiment strip is tucked behind the bouquet as shown.
Put Stampin' Dimensionals all over the back of the sentiment strip and bouquet cut out.
Wrap the loose end of the Misty Moonlight/silver Baker's Twine from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack around your fingers a few times. Cut the twine from the spool.
Remove the protective backings from the Stampin' Dimensionals and adhere the twine in loops to the dimensionals so some of the loops will be behind the upper left side of the bouquet and sentiment strip and one loop will be behind the lower right side of the bouquet as shown.
Adhere the bouquet cut out with sentiment strip and twine loops attached to the front of the card as shown.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 large Mint Macaron gem from a sheet of Genial Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the left end of the sentiment strip.
