Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- 6" x 6" of one of the more solid Tranquil Tide designs from the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack
- 3" x 5-3/4" of the same more solid Tranquil Tide design from the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack, make sure any patterns are running vertically
- 2" x 3" from Sweet Sugarplum Cardstock
- 2" x 2-1/2" from Whisper White Cardstock
- scrap of Whisper White Cardstock
Pick out the front and half back of the mini treat bag thinlit from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits. Place the large square of designer paper on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the treat bag thinlit on top. Make sure the jagged top edges are running horizontally across the designer paper so that the patterns in the paper will be running vertically down the bag. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Pick out the half back of the mini treat bag thinlit from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits. Place the long strip of designer paper on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the half back treat bag thinlit on top. Make sure the jagged top edges are running horizontally across the designer paper so that the patterns in the paper will be running vertically down the bag and are oriented the same way as the larger piece. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Fold on all score lines using a Bone Folder.
Put a strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the up side (side with the pattern you are using showing) on the flap along the side of the skinny half back treat bag piece.
Peel the protective backing off the Tear & Tape Adhesive on the flap. Carefully adhere the flap to the long edge of the front of the larger bag piece. Fold the half back of the bag down flat across the back of the front piece.
Put a strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the long edge of the half back piece you just folded over.
Peel the protective backing off the Tear & Tape Adhesive and fold the half back on the large bag piece over to adhere to the other half back piece.
Put a piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the bottom flap piece on the under side (the side with the pattern you don't have showing).
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape Adhesive and fold the flap up to seal off the bottom of the bag.
Pick out the notched banner thinlit from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits. Place the Sweet Sugarplum rectangle on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the notched banner thinlit on top so that the notch on one end is not on the cardstock. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot. You should have a banner with a notch on one end only.
Adhere the notched banner piece to the front of the treat bag at a slight angle on the left side using SNAIL.
Cut a 7" piece of Sweet Sugarplum 3/8" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon. Fold the ribbon in half with a loop at the folded end. Place the ribbon on top of the banner on the treat bag and secure in place across the center where the ribbon crosses itself using a small strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Mount the "for you" sentiment from the Birthday Blooms Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Sweet Sugarplum Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white rectangle.
Pick out the heart thinlit from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits. Place the stamped sentiment on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the heart thinlit on top so it is centered over the sentiment. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape holding the ribbon in place and adhere the sentiment heart over the top at a slight angle.
Mount the tiny flower image from the Birthday Blooms Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Sweet Sugarplum Ink Pad. Stamp it on the scrap of white cardstock.
Use Paper Snips to cut out the flower by hand.
Adhere the flower to the upper right side of the sentiment heart using a Mini Stampin' Dimensional.
Put a small, mostly white Glitter Enamel Dot in the center of the flower.
Fill your Mini Treat Bag with treats and give it to someone to brighten their day!
