Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and Grid Paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Dapper Denim Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock
- 3-1/8" x 4" from Tranquil Tide Cardstock
- 2-3/4" x 3" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 3-1/8" of green and blue rounded diamond shapes on vanilla background pattern from Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 7-1/4" square from Grid Paper
Carefully remove a magnet from the back of the Stamparatus and place it on your work surface. Place the Stamparatus in front of you with the open sides of the Stamparatus on the left and bottom. Place the foam mat on the base of the Stamparatus since you will be using a photopolymer stamp, make sure it is pushed into the upper right corner as far as possible. Place the 7-1/4" square of Grid Paper on top of the foam mat so you have some grid lines to refer to.
Place the rectangle of Very Vanilla cardstock in the upper right corner of the Stamparatus. Make sure that a 3" side is going horizontally across the top and the piece is pushed as far into the corner as it will go. Place the magnet on the lower left corner to hold the cardstock in place.
Insert one of the plates into the hinges on the right side of the Stamparatus.
Pick out the full tail with space for the body to be stamped inside it image from the Beautiful Peacock Set. Place it upside down on the piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock where you want to stamp the image. Close the plate on the right side of the Stamparatus and press firmly so the stamp sticks to the plate. Open the plate.
Ink up the stamp on the plate using the Lemon Lime Twist Ink Pad. If you get excess ink on the plate, you can wipe it off with a baby wipe or tissue. Use the brush tip of the Tranquil Tide Marker to randomly thump all over the inked up stamp. Close the plate onto the cardstock and press down firmly. Open the plate.
Clean the stamp using a baby wipe. Dry the stamp thoroughly by waving the plate around, running your hand across it to make sure it is dry, or waiting patiently!
Remove the plate from the hinges on the right side and flip it over. Put the plate back into the hinges on the right side.
Pick out the curved feathers image from the Beautiful Peacock Set. Place it upside down on the piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock where you want to stamp the image. Close the plate on the right side of the Stamparatus and press firmly so the stamp sticks to the plate. Open the plate.

Remove the magnet. Slide the stamped vanilla cardstock over 1/8" (half of a square on the Grid Paper). Put the magnet back on to hold the cardstock in place.
Without re-inking, close the plate and press down firmly. Open the plate.

Remove the magnet and remove the cardstock. Put the magnet back on the Stamparatus for safe keeping.
Use the Lemon Lime Twist Marker to color in the wing on the bird's body.
Adhere the stamped vanilla cardstock to the top of the Tranquil Tide rectangle so 1/16" of Tranquil Tide shows on the top and both sides.
Adhere the piece of Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper to the bottom of the Tranquil Tide rectangle so it is even with the bottom and both sides and overlaps the vanilla layer along the bottom just a bit.
Cut a 4" piece of Lemon Lime Twist 3/8" Mini Striped Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the Tranquil Tide/stamped vanilla/designer paper layers so it covers the seam between the vanilla and designer paper layers. Flip the layers over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Without adhering, place the Tranquil Tide/stamped vanilla/designer paper layer on the large Lemon Lime Twist rectangle so you know how much room you have to stamp below it. The top of the Tranquil Tide/vanilla/designer paper layer should be about 1/4" from the top of the Lemon Lime Twist rectangle.
Mount the long, skinny bunch of feathers image from the Beautiful Peacock Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Tranquil Tide Ink Pad. Stamp it at an angle in the bottom right corner of the Lemon Lime Twist rectangle so the bottom of the stems and the two little feathers are off the bottom edge of the cardstock. Make sure they fit below the Tranquil Tide/vanilla/designer paper layer.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add more SNAIL to the back of the Tranquil Tide layer. Adhere the layers to the top of the stamped Lemon Lime Twist rectangle.
Adhere the Lemon Lime Twist layer to the front of the Dapper Denim card.
Carefully remove 3 small Dapper Denim Glitter Enamel Dots from the sheet making sure you get the adhesive as well as the enamel dots. Adhere them to the ends of the feathers on the bottom of the Lemon Lime Twist layer.
Cut a 4" piece of Lemon Lime Twist 3/8" Mini Striped Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center. Trim the ends. Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere it at an angle to the left side of the ribbon already on the card front.
