H ow cool is this card? It's a type of easel card but using Vellum as a window, then place a BATTERY OPERATED CANDLE behind to illuminate the card.
Project Recipe
Cherry Cobbler card base measuring 10.5cms x 29.6cms (half of an A4 piece of cardstock) scored at 14.9cms.
Cobbler cardstock measuring 16cms x 10.5cms scored at 2cms
Cherry Cobbler cardstock measuring 5 x 9.5cms as a mount for your sentiment piece.
Basic White cardstock measuring 10 x 5.5cms and another at 4.5 x 9cms (sentiment piece)
Basic White cardstock measuring 10 x 14.3 for back of card to write your message on.
Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler cardstock pieces to die cut wreath leaves.
Take your piece of DSP measuring 10 x 13.5 and align it in position on the piece of Cherry Cobbler card measuring 16 x 10.5cms. DO NOT ATTACH YET!! Die cut using the deckled circle die through both these pieces. Ensure you run through a couple of times as you are going through two pieces of paper.
Line up your Vellum in the middle of these two pieces and adhere.
Fold down on the score line and attach at the back of your card front so that it folds over onto the front.
Stamp your sentiment with versamark on the piece of white card stock measuring 4.5 x 9cms and heat emboss your sentiment and then stamp some holly into the corner. I used the large Season's Greetings and used masking paper to stamp each word underneath one another.
Attach the piece of DSP measuring 4.5 x 9.5cms to your piece of white cardstock measuring 10 x 5cms.
Attach your sentiment to the piece of DSP (or plain Cherry Cobbler) and then these two to the white cardstock.
Attach your sentiment piece using stampin dimensionals as this will ensure it stands up to hold your card front in place.
Attach to this at the bottom of the inside of your card.
Die cut a red and a green wreath to decorate the front around the vellum window.
Die cut a bow and a flower using the adhesive backed gold glimmer paper.
