A lthough this gift card holder looks complicated, it's just a couple cuts and a couple folds!
Project Recipe
Start with a piece of DSP measuring 8 1/2 x 11. Lay the paper flat with the pattern you want on the front facing up.
With the 8 1/2 " side along the top of your score tool, score the paper at 4 1/4.
Turn the paper, and with the 11" side along the top of your score tool, score the paper at 5 1/2.
Your paper should now be scored in half both horizontally and vertically.
Cut along the horizontal scoreline from the left to the center of the paper.
Fold the bottom right corner inward until it meets the center score line.
Fold the top left corner down about 2 1/4"
Fold top left section over and onto the top right section.
Fold the bottom left section behind the bottom right section
Fold the bottom right corner to meet the center fold
Fold bottom section up and on top of the top section.
Seal the open edges using tear tape.
Wrap a piece of ribbon and tie into a knot along the left side of the gift card holder as shown in the sample.
Cut two pieces of Real Red cardstock 2 x 4 1/4.
Cut two pieces of Whisper White cardstock 1 7/8 x 4.
Using a tag punch, punch both pieces of red and both pieces of white pieces of card stock.
Layer the white pieces on top of the red pieces. Trim the bottom as necessary.
Stamp the sentiment on one of the tags.
Attach a bow to each tag.
Insert the stamped tag in the front pocket.
With glue dots, attach a gift card to the second tag, and insert the tag into theback pocket.
